Meg: "Jack are these songs about you?"
Jack: "No Meg, they're about you."
M: "I wish"
J: "No you don't. You know I don't write about myself or my friends, let alone my sister."
M: "I thought maybe you made an exception after coming out of the closet."

Bolt Thrower Recording

Metal Blade reports: Rehearsals are over and Bolt Thrower is in the studio recording their first release in over 3 years. The band promises regular studio updates will be available on their website so keep checking back.

Disillusion Find Bassist

Metal Blade reports: Disillusion has finally filled the long-time vacant bass player position! The band welcomes Ralf Willis as the fourth member. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Ralf decided to be part of Disillusion after he heard about the band and their search for a permanent bass player.

“We actually did only one rehearsal together and things were settled”, comments guitar player Rajk Barthel. Ralf moved to Leipzig, Germany and is with the band since March. The band is right now writing new songs in their very own studio. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Cataract's Summer Plans

Metal Blade reports: Yep, it’s true!!! We will be teaming up with label mates AMON AMARTH and IMPIOUS for a short summer tour in between their headlining appearances at Party. San and Summer Breeze Open Air festivals! We are sooo excited to be on the road with one of the best Metal Bands ever. Word.

We will play more shows before and after these dates. This will be the last tour for us before we take a break to enter the studio. We are in the process of writing new songs right now. Vehemence Vocalist

Metal Blade reports: John from Vehemence issued the following update: As for a new vocalist, everyone seems to still be confused who that is after we had made a statement earlier about it on our website. Sean Vandegrift (ex-From A Second Story Window) will be moving to Phoenix, AZ this summer and is our permanent new vocalist. He is a family man but that factor in his life is sorted out now. We stayed at his apartment on this tour the guy is really educated and hilarious. I think he is the perfect front man for our band. He will be living with Bjorn, our other guitarist, and lyric writing has already begun. We can’t tell you what the lyrics are going to be about just yet but they will be just as viable and diverse as our last albums. For one thing we aren’t going to be bashing religion or women anymore. So everyone can let out a sigh and be happy now, we have all had agnosticbeliefs from the get go and our lyrical and artwork factors for this band since day one have misrepresented us from the start. Shadows Fall UK

Century Media reports: Massachusetts’ finest metallers SHADOWS FALL, have confirmed they will be heading over to the UK to play a series of shows in June in the run up to their appearance at the Download Festival on Sunday 12th June.

These shows will be the bands first in the UK since last summer’s New Wave Of American Heavy Metal Tour with Killswitch Engage, Chimaira & God Forbid and this UK jaunt will include two shows with Slipknot, an appearance at this years Download Festival and a live performance at the prestigious Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards before heading out to continue touring Europe with Slipknot. Human League DVD

MVD reports: Music Video Distributors, a leading Music DVD label and distributor, will partner with Secret Films to bring an extensive and timeless music-on-film catalog to consumers via DVD. Each DVD will feature live performance footage of well established artists performing their greatest hits.

MVD plans to introduce this partnership to consumers with the release of The Human League - Live at the Dome. This live DVD - filmed at The Dome, Brighton UK on 19th December 2003 – marks the climax of the Human League’s hugely successful ‘03 tour.
