Press Release reports: Atlanta hard rock giants
MASTODON will issue their first official DVD and a collection of their
earliest recordings in February through Relapse Records.
The DVD, entitled The Workhorse Chronicles,
features over three hours of exclusive MASTODON footage. The Workhorse
Chronicles contains in-depth interviews with each band member, candid behind-the-scenes
shots from the band's personal video archives and a career spanning range
of live performances - including rare footage of the band in their initial
form as a five piece through to sold-out clubs worldwide. Bassist Troy
Sanders comments, "We had been wanting to do a DVD for awhile, and figured
that with all that has happened now would be the right time to document
our early years. Consider it [the DVD] an invitation to walk the paths
we've traveled and see what lies ahead". The Workhorse Chronicles is set
for a February 21st release in North America (February 28th release in

Press Release reports: Fueled by his dream
to create an album about the road on the road, Jackson Browne went on tour
with a remarkable collection of musicians in 1977 and came home with RUNNING
ON EMPTY, a musical portrait of life on tour that is as brutally honest
as it is achingly beautiful. In collaboration with Rhino Records, Jackson
Browne tops off the tank with a host of special features for the expanded
and remastered edition of this live classic.
The two-disc set includes a CD featuring
the original album remastered, plus a DVD with the album remixed by Greg
Ladanyi (the original engineer) in 5.1 DVD Audio Surround Sound, and produced
by Browne. The DVD also includes a pair of unreleased songs‹the instrumental
"Edwardsville Room 124" composed by keyboardist Craig Doerge and "Cocaine
Again," plus more than 200 photos taken by Joel Bernstein during the tour
including a "Running On Empty" video montage and a behind-the-scenes tour
photo album accompanied by an instrumental medley of tracks from the album.
Featuring 12 live performances recorded
between August 17 and September 18, 1977, the deluxe edition of RUNNING
ON EMPTY is available November 15 at retail outlets and at www.rhino.com

Black and White PR reports: Kevin Miller,
the drummer who helped Fuel reach superstardom with the multi-platinum
hit albums Sunburn (Sony/Epic, 1998) and Something Like Human (Song/Epic,
2000), has announced that his new project FOSTERCHILD is entering the studio
this month to record its debut album.
FOSTERCHILD is a four-piece rock band that
Miller and guitarist Brian Quinn formed shortly after Miller’s departure
from Fuel earlier this year. The band is currently in the midst of pre-production
and will begin recording with producer du jour Jeff Glixman (Kansas, Black
Sabbath, Kiss’ Paul Stanley) later this month.
The album is slated for an early 2006 release
date however four of the songs are available now for download on their

Interview With Bayside's John Holohan |
Press Release reports: ManiaTV! (www.ManiaTV.com),
the world’s first live 24/7 Internet Television Network, will feature the
band Bayside (www.BaysideRocks.com) on Artist of the Day and Myspace Mixtape.
Bayside recently visited the ManiaTV! studios for an interview the day
before their drummer John “Beatz” Holohan was killed in an automobile accident.
At the time, the band was on the “Never
Sleep Again” Tour, which includes their friends and Victory Record label
mates Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein and Aiden.
The Bayside Artist of the Day interview
will air Monday November 14th, 2005 at 2pm and 8pm EST. ManiaTV! will be
