popbitch.com newsletter reports that when Twisted Sister performed in Brighton
last week, frontman Dee Snider gave a shout-out to the crowd, saying, "The
balcony is where all the REAL sick motherfu**ers are. They can't even stand
up by show time. Let's have the house lights up to see them!" When the
House lights were raised, the band and audience found themselves looking
back at the disabled section of the crowd, full of fans in wheelchairs.

Rockdirt reports: Motley Crue drummer Tommy
Lee is under fire for stiffing waitresses at Avalon the other night. "He
had a huge table of roadies," a source told The New York Daily News. "Several
waitresses brought Tommy stuff, and there were two waitresses working his
table. None of them, not even one, was tipped - there was not a single
dollar on the table at the end of the night. And they had several comped

through cash, compiled in the December edition of Blender magazine, includes
U2 singer Bono spending $1,700 to have his favorite hat flown to him in
Italy. "We love pop stars at this magazine, but it is clear that in many
ways they are complete idiots,," said Clark Collis, a senior writer at

V Entertainment Network reports: With the
release of the double DVD/CD Rush-R30 (which is already slated to ship
at double platinum status) to celebrate 30 years of Rush Neil Peart looked
back at the past, present and future. Here are a couple of the Q&A's:
What was it like to view the footage for
the second DVD of Rush 30? Did it take you back to a bygone era?
What that old footage does is make us laugh,
really, at how we looked back then, and smile with a certain fond appreciation
for our youthful earnestness and energy. We had a lot to learn - but we
were learning it!
What do you think you have learned since
the early days? How have you changed as a band?
We have learned so much, it's hard to begin
to quantify it. But if anyone hasn't learned a whole bunch in 30 years,
they haven't been paying attention. >From the band's point of view, we
certainly worked on our musicianship first, then - armed with that increased
facility and confidence in our individual instruments - expanded into paying
more attention to songwriting, arranging, and production. [see the full

Press Release reports: Seduced by Suicide,
gothic rock band formed by Earth (Blood Tears - doom metal) is finishing
the records of the MCD Gothic Dream and is now making available for download
one of the new songs, "The Death of My Life", with the MCD's artwork and
the full booklet on the band's website.
Meanwhile, some events are being booked
to make the release of this album. A little preview could be saw last friday,
November 11st, on "Gothik Night - 4 Years", where one of the new songs
were played by the DJs. Some local bands also played there like Desolate
Ways, Aire'N Terre, Supermozart and others, besides of Ruins Matador (Slovenia).[see

but should be of interest to some]In an effort to give homeless individuals
names and put the growing homeless issue in the face of the public and
politicians, more than 5,000 Hello My Name Is... oversized nametags/signs
are being distributed around the world to those living on the streets.
Holding a sign with their own handwritten name, the individuals are being
photographed for projecthello.org, an upcoming free book, a series of PSAs,
and a traveling photo exhibition.
Project Hello aims to build awareness of
the world's growing homeless problem; to create discussion and a platform
for solutions; to give homeless individuals a name, and in the process,
encourage others to treat them with dignity, respect, and compassion; to
use mass communication and problem-solving skills for the forces of good;
and to inspire and assist others in creating more selfless, random acts
of kindness.
Since its inception in LA in 2003, Project
Hello has quickly developed into an international project. To this date,
3,500 signs have been distributed throughout 20 countries to over 70 photographers,
resulting in over 700 images from around the world. [see full story for

Press Release reports: Scott Stapp, one of
the most recognizable voices in music, will be performing the National
Anthem at the Ford 400 race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 20th,
2005. The Ford 400, the final race of the 2005 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series,
will determine the Cup Champion and will be televised on NBC (3pm EST,
check local listings).
Stapp's first solo release, "The Great
Divide," will release on Nov. 22nd on Wind-up Records.-
