Michael Schenker (MSG, UFO, SCORPIONS) has posted the following message
on his web site:
"I have been threatened and don't feel
safe coming back to the States. Even after making support payments I was
told that this was turned over to support enforcement and that I must pay
or the measurements would be severe. I am being threatened with my passport
being suspended, my assets frozen and jail time. Please understand I cannot

in a jail cell in Mexico. No, this time it was because my wife, Mrs. Tinfoil,
gave birth to a human larvae named Madailein Elizabeth. She was 7lb 9 ounces,
21 inches long and already has a longer attention span than I do. [a huge

set a June 5, 2006 release date for the upcoming "End of an Era" CD/DVD
release from NIGHTWISH.
"End of an Era" will contain footage of
NIGHTWISH's final concert with singer Tarja Turunen, which took place on

punkbands reports: Pacific Ridge has announced
the final track listing for their upcoming Blink-182 tribute. The album
is due out on December 20, 2005. The organizers are currently mastering
the record at Double Time Studios in San Diego, apt because it is the same
studio in which Blink-182 recorded Cheshire Cat.
The label had this to say: I think the
idea for the blink tribute came about long before there was even a label.
Back when we were relentlessly searching the internet trying to find mp3s
of zulu and marlboro man, and watching the video for �First Date' at least
a thousand times. Pacific Ridge owes a lot to Blink 182, not just for their
spectacular releases, but for getting us so involved in music that a label

Washington this week, shooting a documentary on the life of the late Kurt

Metal Blade reports: We know it has been quite
some time since updates were made so we wanted to fill everyone in on what's
going on with Goatwhore. We have currently relocated to Phoenix, AZ for
a temporary time to finish work on our next album to be released through
Metal Blade Records in mid-2006. Things are pretty crazy in our hometown
of New Orleans, LA still (since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina),
so we decided to pack-up and head out west to finish writing on the new
material. We are currently staying with some close friends out here in
Phoenix and we will have a few shows in the beginning of December to help
our current situation out. Please come out and show some support and hope
to see you while we are out this way. More information will follow once
we have a scheduled studio date, which would be around the end part of
this year.

Special Ops reports: The Erasure Show - Live
in Cologne DVD will be in stores December 13 just in time to stuff those
holiday garter belts. The Erasure Show � Live in Cologne was filmed on
the band's incredible tour earlier this year, described by The Independent
as "magical and cinematic". The Erasure Show tour coincided with the release
of their latest album, Nightbird, and the DVD includes many of the singles
(including "All This Time Still Falling Out Of Love", the band's 32nd consecutive
Top 40 hit) from Nightbird plus live favorites such as "A Little Respect"
and "Oh L'Amour".
This new DVD gives viewers a chance to
see Andy Bell's breathtaking rendition of "Ave Maria" and Vince Clarke
take to the mic for a version of Blondie's "Rapture" from the 2005 tour,
which included a record breaking ten sold out nights at New York's Irving

Victory reports: Dead To Fall are heading
to Trax East to begin recording the follow up to their critically acclaimed
2004 album "Villainy and Virtue" with producer Eric Rachel. Rachel rejoins
the band for round two � their previous collaboration was described in
Revolver as, "Full of slab-like guitars and raging vocal growls, this brutish
metalcore album will reach out of your speakers, beat you down, and steal
your wallet." The great Paul Romano (Mastodon, Godflesh) returns to artwork
for the cover � his images for "Villainy and Virtue" were some of the most
striking to appear that year, and the band is eager to work with him again.
The tentative title for the album is "Death and Rebirth" and singer Jon
Hunt has said that it has a lot more classic metal elements than any previous
Dead To Fall recordings. Expect the album in April 2006, and don't miss
Dead To Fall on tour in January 2006 with Ion Dissonance, where new songs

Press Release reports: Canadian metal/hardcore
band Inner Surge has been confirmed for inclusion on the official "Cabras"
movie soundtrack, a CD that will contain tracks by 20 band North America-wide,
including New Crash Position, A New Way Down, CEDE, Area 51, Calabrese,
Pinga and others. The politically charged track "Retribution Song" will
be used for the soundtrack, and a video will be filmed for the song this
January in Calgary, Canada. "CABRAS", a horror film directed by Fredy Polania,
will premiere 20 exclusive music videos online, 1 whole year prior to the
films worldwide release in 2007. The film is currently being shot in California.
"Retribution Song" will also be included on Inner Surge's upcoming album
"Signals Screaming", which is due for a Spring 2006 release, along with
2 music videos. For a cameo in one of the music videos on the "Cabras"
