- the hook-injected, guitar-driven debut solo album from James Guffee-
hits the streets on September 13, 2005. The 10 new tracks represent the
latest in what has been a diverse and accomplished music career for the
multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and member of the late, critically-acclaimed
power popsters The Tories. With Guffee's fingerprints on everything from
the lyrics and playing to the studio production, So Much For Secrets is
a testament to his talents. The album is released on the Guflain Music
label and distributed through Burnside Distribution of Portand, Ore.

Press Release reports: On September 27, Lost
Highway will release Jacksonville City Nights, the new album from Ryan
Adams & The Cardinals. Jacksonville City Nights is the second of an
unprecedented three albums Adams is scheduled to release in 2005. Cold
Roses, released in May, received high praise from the press and was considered
by many as Adam's finest work as a solo artist. With its strong songwriting,
solid performances and "old school" country flavor, Jacksonville City Nights
is a perfect follow-up to Cold Roses.
As with Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Nights
is a full-band offering featuring Adams and The Cardinals, and was produced
by Tom Schick. All 14 songs were written and recorded by Ryan Adams &
The Cardinals (J.P. Bowersock (electric guitar), Brad Pemberton (drums),
Jon Graboff (pedal steel, 12 string guitar, mandolin, tambourine, backing
vocals) and Catherine Popper (bass, keyboards, backing vocals). Jacksonville
City Nights also features "Dear John", a haunting duet with Norah Jones.

been waiting for: on September 20th, the multi-platinum rock band will
reveal their new lead singer to the world. The announcement will be made
during the finale of the electrifying summer TV series, "Rock Star: INXS."
The new vocalist will join the band in
the studio to immediately begin work on SWITCH, their first new album in
eight years. The highly anticipated record is scheduled for a November
