(Reuters) Pearl Jam will play a rare club show at Chicago's House of Blues on October 5 to raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Tickets, priced at $1,000 each, go on sale Saturday (September 17). All net proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross and the Jazz Foundation of America.[see full story for more]

I was thinking that too daedae but it is a good cause and the intimacy of the whole thing would be awesome. I live in the area and was even thinking about taking out a loan!!

Holy crap, $1000 for a ticket? Don't you think a short tour with tickets at, say, $50, might've made more money?
