DEP Expands Tour
siN's metal news reports: More dates have beend released for THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN's upcoming tour with BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME and HORSE THE BAND. According to Pollstar, it seems as if HELLA and THE BRONX will also be on the tour, on different legs. Confrimed dates are as follows:

Atlantic reports: Who should get their own record label?

The 50 contestants on The Biz have been whittled down to only 8 confirmed finalists. BUT - there's room for 2 more, and we need help deciding who should get it. You can hear them interviewed by Lyor Cohen, CEO of Warner Music Group, see the first artist that they would sign to their label, plus watch their final video 'plea'. Relapse reports: Relapse Records recording artists ZEKE will appear on a nationally run Jones Soda label that will be available in stores this December. The Jones Soda Company, who are known for their music friendly marketing, choose ZEKE to appear on the 'Fufu Berry Soda' label that can be viewed at the full story link.

The Seattle, WA quartet have just completed their first leg of touring with Atlanta's NASHVILLE PUSSY and will meet back up with them and The AKA's on October 8th. Azrael's Bane Reissue
Press Release reports: Azrael's Bane was formed in the summer of 2002. The band's goal was to combine their individual experience and influences into creating music that was new, powerful, and different from the norm. The band began playing local shows in June of 2002, to rave reviews from local music fans, and press alike, quickly gaining headline status. They have since developed a large local following, expanded upon through regional touring, becoming one of the top drawing bands in the area. Azrael's Bane has also opened for national acts such as George Lynch (Dokken), Quiet Riot, LA Guns, Lillian Axe, Angel, and Zebra. 
 

The band began recording sessions at Houston's Spyder Studios in October of 2003 with co-producer and engineer Gregg Gill (Distant Thunder, Seven Witches) to record what would ultimately become their debut CD, "Wings of Innocence".
