(antiMusic) Sorry Van Hagar fans, chances are slim for a regrouping of the group unless Mr. Eddie Van Halen seeks professional help for his addictions. This according to Sammy Hagar who is gearing up for a summer tour with his fellow VH bandmate Michael Anthony in a band they are calling "The Other Half".
As for hopes of a Van Hagar reunion, this is what Sammy had to tell Billboard: "There were some real problems in the band. I have to tell you, there were nights I didn't know what song Eddie [Van Halen] was playing. There were times I wanted to kill that guy for what he was playing. I would have left that tour in the middle of it if it wasn't for the professional aspect. He's never going to see my ass again unless he goes and gets himself some help." It's a shame that the same drugs that created all that great music thru Eddie, are now destroying him.
