(antiMusic) There are plenty of gullible morons in the world willing to fork over $9.95 to hear what John Lennon might have to say from the grave. Monday night's pay-per-view exploitation, oops special grossed close to $8 million according to the Reuters. And what did Mr. Lennon (or the show producers) wish to (have Lennon) say to the world 26 years after his death? "Peace ... The Message is Peace."
"Tell Paul his new album sucks" was leading the pool here at antiMusic. But Lennon still wants to talk about peace. Or at least that's what the producers said they captured with an EVP (the voice of a spirit captured on tape). Reuters reports, "The show's organisers said psychic Joe Power's voice feed went dead for a few seconds and the message was found on it when the tape of the voice feed was played back." As the profits Penn and Teller (well one of them at least) once said, we'll believe it when we read this headline "Psychic wins lottery". But if you really really care to learn more about this sham.. er special, click the full story link.

I thought John's solo work was TERRIBLE! His last album was crap. Paul has done some amazing songs. Too bad he did so much filler.

John put out crap but he put out crap on purpose to kill the myth around him. Paul put out crap because he just lost it. I agree, "BOTR" was the last good thing he did. George put out the best post-Beatles ish. If there was ever a band greater than the sum of its parts, it was the Beatles. 40 years later, and there is still no band greater.

Paul hasn't produced a worthwhile album since "Band on the Run".

I agree! Paul's new album was way better than most of the junk John put out in the '70s. Pity the antimusic editors think it's necessary to slam Paul for no reason just to make themselves look hip. Very sad.

Paul's new album sucks? How f*ckin' cheap. You can come up with something better than that you predictable c*nts.
