Punk Protest a Bust

. (punkbands) Last week we ran this story about the members of the hardcore band Cut Throat claiming to be roughed up by cops at a show near Philadelphia. Well in light of the allegations, there was an attempted protest against police brutality which was to be held outside the Leominster, PA police station yesterday. Contingency plans were put into place by the cops in case things got violent, journalists were on hand to document the punks vs cops angle, and it looked like the spirit of the genre was about to receive a well deserved boot in the ass.
