2&2: Trail of Dead
antiMusic reports: This week's 2&2 features an interview Thrashpit editor Mark Hensch did with Conrad from .. Trail of Dead a few weeks back with the release of their new CD So Divided. We gave the Thrashpit readers an early look at the interview but here it is in its official 2&2 posting.

2&2: Worlds Apart had some pretty strong political undertones. How exactly do you feel about the state of our country? ** Conrad: I think you're all f**ked! No, I think we can work things out. Maybe not without something really, truly awful happening first. But more important than the state of this country or any other country, I focus mainly on the future of the human animal (as well as all the other disenfranchised animals). I think if all goes well countries, and hopefully organized religions, will one day be a thing of the past.

2&2: The best part about your music is that it never sacrifices intelligence for catchiness. Do you feel that this brand of "smart rock" will ever replace the trash that is on radio now? ** Conrad: Honestly? No. But homeland security can't arrest us for hoping and pretending that it might someday. [see full story for the entire 2&2 interview. - Click Here for the Full Story

Van Halen Ready for Reunion
KNAC reports: Eddie Van Halen recently spoke to Guitar World Magazine. This quote is an excerpt from the interview featured in the new issue, and posted on a David Lee Roth fan site:

"I'm telling Dave. 'Dude get your ass up here and sing, witch! Come On!'" says Van Halen. "As it stands right now, the ball is in Dave's court. Whether he wants to rise to the occasion is entirely up to him, but we're ready to go."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Idol Porn Vandalism
Submitted News reports: A video has surfaced on You Tube this weekend that shows Kelly Clarkson riding in the back of a van with known adult filmmaker and singer for Society 1 Matt Zane en route to vandalize Evanescence's lead singer Amy Lee's house. The clip seems to be an excerpt from a reality show entitled "In The Studio" During the teaser Kelly actually throws numerous rolls of toilet paper into the trees and over the house while laughing.

It is unclear how Matt Zane and Ms. Clarkson ended up in the van together but even Zane seems surprised when he states "I can't believe American Idols Kelly Clarkson is riding in the back of a van going to commit vandalism!"

Ron Jeremy and other varied guests make appearances throughout the 4 minute clip but nothing seems more puzzling than the pairing of Zane and Clarkson. Check it out at the full story link. The clip is also posted on Zane's Myspace: www.myspace.com/mattthelordzane[- Click Here for the Full Story

GNR Protest

Specifically, the Gnronline.it administrators are claming that GN'R management is playing favorites with the two big American fan sites, while other worldwide fan sites are being left in the dark despite their efforts over the course of the last ten years to support the group. The Gnronline.it web site is not being updated and the almost 3,000-user forum is not being moderated until January 1, 2007. After that day, the entire site will be closed.
