. (punkbands) The kid who sang that Silverstein song on American Idol is apparently doing interviews (don't worry, not with us). He's not doing anything for his credibility either. Asked by aversion.com why he chose Silverstein and not something heavier like the Cro-Mags, Ryan Hart had this to say: "I'm not really into straight up hardcore music. I love screamo, and Silverstein [is] one of my favorite if not my favorite band. I knew singing one of their songs would get them a lot of free publicity, which would in turn get them more money, which would enable them to produce more terrific albums like their first two."[see full story for more pearls of wisdom] - Click here for the Full Story
