Thats why the folks at peta2PETAs Youth Divisionwere thrilled when Hawthorne Heights guitarist and veteran vegetarian Casey Calvert offered to narrate a brand-new TV public service announcement (PSA) urging fans to boycott KFC.
Says Casey in the PSA, Did you know that many of the 850 million chickens killed for KFCs buckets each year have their wings and legs broken and are scalded to death while theyre still conscious? Probably not, because KFC doesnt want you to know. The PSA is part of PETAs international Kentucky Fried Cruelty Campaign.[see full story for more]
