(Universal) Republic/Universal Records recording artists, Blue October, have the # 1 Most Added Song at Alternative Radio with the single, Hate Me this week. The track is the first song off their third full-length studio album being released on March 14th entitled, Foiled. Hailing from the great state of Texas, Blue October has been meticulously expanding their fan base from their home state to the rest of the country. Nothing proves this more than the eclectic mix of stations that added Hate Me this week. From WLUM in Milwaukee, WI to WSUN- TAMPA where it is # 1 requested to WSUN in Tampa, FL where the station said, This song is so huge. TOP 5 PHONES! It's been in our Top 5 @ 9 for weeks! Just listened to "HATE ME". Had to listen to it several more times, it really reaches in and makes you connect with so many feelings all at once. Great song and band!!! Have to buy the cd.

I was completely blown away the first time I heard "Foiled" I hope I dont harm the bands credibility by virtue of my advancd age(51yr0) or my uncool looks (trust me on that) but as an old cat who owns a few thousand titles, I think I know great music when I hear it and I truly believe B.C. is great music. Well it's about bloody time stations started adding Blue October to the playlist! They've been amazing for years, but nobody (except those attending their sold-out shows from Texas on up) gave them any credit! To the band I say, "We (Omaha)love you and rock on!" To the stations I say, "you're a little late."

My wife and I have been Blue October fans for 8 years now. We have seen them around 20-25 times and each show has been the best ever. They are true down to earth people who still remember us every time they see us in the audience and after shows. We even got tattoo's of wedding bands because of their song. It is awesome that they finally made it big even if it will be harder for them to play small venues like Fitzgeralds in Houston. Kinda sad but awesome. Saw them at the cd signing in Houston and cant wait to see them when they come back. BLUE OCTOBER ROCKS!!

my roomates played "hate me" for me and her and i just looked at each other with tears- this song relates to so much for us- our battle with her when she was addicted to meth, my ex boyfriends addiction to crack, and right now, her cousin is on life support for an overdose of cocaine-most likely will not make it through the weekend. it also reminds me of all the things ive put my mom through. i cant wait for this cd to come out- i will def be picking it up!!

Hate me, I am sure now that I have heard this song that the death of my mom is truly killing me inside not just the drugs. people it is great that you see it about your gf's but listen to the lyrics, it is about a mothers love for her child, don't let the chance to tell her you love her before she leaves this world, see you all on the other side

I love blue october. When I went to my first concert I was floored. Their music has so much meaning and we're gonna miss them in our little town of Odessa,TX. It's kind of a bittersweet end. They've finally gotten the attention they deserve but at the same time us small-town people are gonna miss them. Now we're going to have to drive miles to go see them instead of them being in our "own backyard". Blue October... We Love You!!!

Every time I hear this song it makes my heart hurt. Yet I always stop what I am doing to listen to it. A lot of people can relate to this song if they have ever been in a painful relationship of some kind. The lyrics defanitely touch my soul.

I love this song. I fell in love with Calling You, which is me and my girlfriend's song. I sent her a cd with calling you on it (she lives 35 miles away) and she called me and told me she was crying happy tears. When I heard 'Hate Me' I didn't know who sang it at first, but I called my gf and told her to turn to the station it was on and after it was over they said Blue October and I almost shat myself. Blue October rules! Me and my girlfriend can't wait to see you guys at The Hive in Tulsa March 23rd!!!

When my friend and I first heard the "hate me" song we both cried. It was as if the song was made for us, my boyfriend turned and seriously asked me if I had submitted some of my poems for someone to make a song out them. Love the song can't wait to buy the CD. Great job guys!
