Kid Vs Stapp
TMZ reports: Kid Rock blames Scott Stapp for losing a sex video showing them with several strippers, but appreciates Stapp for one thing. "What perfect timing," Rock told The Associated Press in an interview Wednesday. "I got a record coming up ... Maybe I should thank him."

Still, Rock (aka Robert Ritchie) has fired back against Stapp's claim that the tape was stolen, saying the former Creed singer filmed the tape, which was made in Rock's motor home in 1999, and is responsible for losing it.

"He's the idiot because it's out," the 35-year-old Rock said. "I'm holding him responsible."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Punk Bomb Scare
punkbands reports: A seemingly innocuous This Bike is a Pipe Bomb sticker was enough to put Ohio University on high alert this morning. Apparently, the sticker, placed - appropriately enough - on a bike, was sufficient to get both campus police and the bomb squad involved. According to local media, university police found a nondescript mountain bike with the Plan-It X act's sticker on it, and took it literally. The school closed four buildings, police blocked streets around the Oasis restaurant, the fire department brought in off-duty firefighters, and the Columbus fire department's bomb squad was called in. The bomb experts attacked the bike with a high-pressure spray of water, then pried it open with a hydraulic tool and found no bomb inside. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

GNR 3CD Set?
antiMusic reports: Will the long delayed Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy be a triple CD release? Axl reportedly told Jayme Peyton (Big Damn Band) at an after show party at the Roxy that it would be.

Rose attended the Derek Truck show at the Roxy on Feb 23rd in which the Indiana based Big Damn Band opened. "(Rose) heard us say that it was my birthday, and he came over and bought me a couple of shots of Patron (tequila)," Jayme said according to a Indy Star Blog report. "I thought that was real nice."

But Rose also had another gift for Jayme. "Jayme says the party eventually moved to Trucks' tour bus, where Rose produced a CD and previewed some of 'Chinese Democracy' -- which the singer said will be sold as a 3-disc collection," reports David Lindquist on his blog.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Jovi Slams Darkness
Gigwise reports: The purveyor of stomach churningly bad rock music that is Jon Bon Jovi has decided to blast the equally awful The Darkness.

He ranted: "I hate The Darkness. Fucking hate 'em. I don't understand it. I know they are huge, but I never really got it.

"It's just Spinal Tap isn't it? It's just a lark. I'm not sure they think so, though. ...[First Axl, now The Darkness. Someone give Jon his Prozac.. see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

iPod's Illegal in OC
tinfoil reports: Not only will they make you deaf, but apparently listening to your iPod with earbuds/headphones in/covering both ears is illegal in Orange County as this poor Suicide Girl found out, "i was just on the bus. doing typical travel things. you know, listening to my ipod, staring out the window, day dreaming about ice cream and puppy dogs. a few stops before mine, a sheriff's car pulls in front of the bus with its lights on. he gets on, moves to the back and an undercover informs a woman that she's being cited for wearing headphones. apparently, having both headphones on while in a bus is a crime. they take her info. they are about to leave when the undercover notices me with my ipod. do you have your id, he rudely asked. i asked why. he informs me that what i'm doing is illegal. that i can only have one earphone in at a time...." [Gotta love the OC Sheriffs Dept if this is true. She should have asked him how the dept was handling the bribery charges against an assistant sheriff and how the other assistant sheriff's son's sexual assault case was going... see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

More Beck
CMJ reports: There’s no rest for the weary. Not if you are Beck, who is reportedly finishing up yet another album. (It will be his tenth!) Depending on the currently untitled and unscheduled record’s release, Beck could end up putting out three albums in less than two years. (Remember that last year saw the release of both Guero and its remix album Guerolito.) According to MTV News, the forthcoming album was recorded before Guero in only a week with producer Nigel Godrich. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
