Band Attacked
SMN reports: The band Tub Ring was attacked onstage at a recent show where they shared the stage with 5 hardcore/straight edge bands (brilliant booking on that one.) siN's metal news has a statement from Tub Ring here is a recap but see the full story for it all: - Tub Ring plays last out of 6 bands. All are hardcore / straight edge. ..TR plays song to song to song, non-stop. NOTHING was said to the audience through the PA except right before TR starts playing... when jokingly TR remarks "you are going to need to listen to Elton John for a week to get all that hardcore out of your systems" as TR plays, members of all the opening hardcore bands gathering on both sides of the stage watching TR play. FULL bottles of water begin to be thrown @ TR by these band members, then... a metal lock box, then out of nowhere a HUGE barstool is hurled, which hits TR's guitarist JEFF, breaking the headstock off of his guitar. Another chair hits Rob in the head, and then smashes his keyboard up. Trevor is then HEADBUTTED by Wheeler (singer of "Black My Heart") leaving both of them with bleeding cuts. Trevor now needs stitches on his face. Cops arrive & take pictures of the damage to Tub Ring's equipment and of Trevor's injuries, and Wheeler singer of "Black My Heart" is arrested and taken to jail.- Click Here for the Full Story

Rocky Hall Inductions
TMZ reports: Between an ugly feud among Blondie members spilling over onstage and a rancorous letter from the absent Sex Pistols, the latest Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class did not enter quietly on Monday. The animosity even made Ozzy Osbourne, inducted with Black Sabbath, seem sedate.

Infante, Harrison and Gary Valentine, another former member left behind in a business dispute, were barely acknowledged by former chums Deborah Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke as they received their awards. Infante begged to perform with the band. "Debbie, are we allowed?" he pleaded before Blondie performed their hits "Heart of Glass," "Rapture" and "Call Me."

"Can't you see my band is up there?" Harry replied. The three rejected members walked offstage, but not before Infante groaned into the microphone.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
