have a new favorite band: The Rezurex are the most prominent newcomers
in the City of Angels and easily fill even large clubs one after the other

Press Release reports: Following the band's
successful appearance at Los Angeles Murderfest 2.0 in February, Los Angeles'
CREMATORIUM is locked in as a support act for Deicide's upcoming West Coast
tour in April. With only a limited number of dates across the western United
States, the band is privileged to be selected alongside Vital Remains to
support the Florida death metal legends.
Having parted ways with guitarist Frank
Perez, Crematorium will bring the band's brutal, groove-heavy signature
brand of metal (dubbed murdercore) on the road as a four piece. "Since
we've been playing as a four piece, we've been a more aggressive unit live
with both our stage presence and our sound," vocalist Daniel Dismal says.
"We're not planning on replacing Frank anytime soon, unless the right person
comes along for the job." Meanwhile, guitarist Mark Uehlein will take up
lead guitar duties that once fell on Perez's shoulders.[see full story

Bony reports: YOUTH, the major label studio
debut from America's most popular reggae singer, Matisyahu, debuts at #4
on the Billboard 200 this week. It's a remarkable turn for the 26-year
old Brooklynite, who has seen his career skyrocket in the year since he
recorded his gold-certified Live At Stubbs, which moves to #36 on the chart
this week, making Matisyahu the only artist with two albums currently in
the Top 40.
Entering the iTunes Chart at #1 as well
as Billboard's Top Internet Albums Chart, Digital Albums Chart and Reggae
Chart, the scorching debut of Youth comes amid a flurry of headlining events
for Matisyahu, including coveted spots at this year's Coachella Valley
Music & Arts Festival and Bonaroo Music & Arts Festival. Catalyst's

the lead with the video for the new single, "Youth," as "King Without A

album in 10 years, XXX, in stores March 21st!
Chicago's 30th album introduces 13 new
studio tracks ranging from signature ballads to funked-up grooves to solid
rockers, including the lead single "Feel." The album was produced by Jay
DeMarcus of the famed country trio Rascal Flatts. DeMarcus performed on
several tracks and also assembled Rascal Flatts bandmates Gary LeVox and

whose combined record sales exceed 150 million units, agreed to work with
Detroit's dirtiest rock band, Ugly. Parasher has made a name for himself

Pearl Jam's Ten, Alice in chain's Sap, 3 Doors Down Away from the sun,
Nickelback's Silver side up, Default's Elocution, Stereomud's Perfect Self,
Rob Zombie's Sinister Urge, Melissa Etheridge's Lucky, Bon Jovi's Have
a nice day, and Blind Melon's self-titled album.
Pre-production will begin in Cleveland
on March 20th, 2006. Parasher and the Ugly boys will begin work on the
album in Cleveland on April 24, 2006 and Rust will release the single in

metal bands of all time and frontman Dave Mustaine chose the winner himself:
Polish artist Michal Loranc (whose “deviant” names is XAAY.
Dave viewed all 2,500 submissions himself

antiMusic reports: A quick update about Wildhearts'
frontman Ginger's solo band hitting the US. Ginger and Sonic Circus' one-off
New York date has sold out so Don Hill's decided to make it a two-off.
They will headline the famed NYC club on April 4th and now 5th. Better
hurry and get tickets before that one sells out as well.
Ginger and co have a string of dates across
the pond in the UK next week leading up to the NYC shows and the band has
been booked to headline the third stage at the Download festival on June
