(Faded Youth) n one of those priceless made-for-TV-moments that only live TV can bring, interviewer Larry King asked American Idol judge Simon Cowell about the gay scandal surrounding former idol Clay Aiken.
King asks, "What about Clay Aiken and the possible lawsuits?" With a coy grin on his face, Cowell first played dumb, stating he didn't know much about it, an obvious dodge of a sensitive subject "Well I heard about this. I mean what are they saying that he..." King tried to prod him a bit further. "Came on with somebody." Cowell, grinning like a monkey, paused like a deer caught in the headlights. Finally, he responded with a quick dismissive reply "You hear all the rumuors, whatever. Then you hear the lawsuits are that you pretended to be straight or something. I mean it's just crazy, you know". [see full story for more]

I was at a Clay Aiken concert where he commented on the many Clay fans who met on the internet and was freaked out that we trusted each other enough to stay at each other's house when going to his concert together even though we had never met! I mean he was really FREAKING OUT so why in heaven's name would he pick up "dates" there when he was concerned for our safety for meeting other fans on the net? It doesn't make any sense. Some people (and I use the term loosely) see Clay as a rising star and they want to cash in on it to further their own interests and at the same time, try to ruin his good name and career. It's not working because we don't believe it based on the above which he got after us in his "teacher" mode. Just quit writing articles about it as you are just helping out the low lifes who started this bunch of crap! Wise up!

Yes, Tina! Made up tabloid stuff! That means lies! These rumors have existed about CA since day one. Check out Filth2go and see how Billy Masters began calling Clay, "Gay Clay" on Wildcard night 3 yrs ago. We've heard all the rumors, all the Internet cruisin' on gay pickup sites, purportedly done by Clay under various screen names, and you know what? John Paulus is the ONLY person, male or female, that has EVER claimed to have sex with Clay. How can that be?
If and when CA wishes to publicly change his sexual orientation, lets let him do it, ok? Until then, it truly is no one's business.
You know it's funny. This time last year after an interview, Larry King said this:
KING: "You're an extraordinary young man."
AIKEN: "Oh, thank you very much."
KING: "Congratulations. I congratulate the U.N. for choosing you."
AIKEN: "Thank you very much."

"often": get real! These are exact quotes from the transcript. How is that made up tabloid stuff? Face it, Clay is a scam and everyone is about to find out that their Christian choir boy plays for the other team!

In an interview this past August, Clay was asked how he felt when questioned about his sexuality and his response was,"insulted!" How many times does Clay have to say "I am not gay." before people get! Shame on Larry King for bringing up trash from a tabloid and more trash about "so-called fans and a law- suit" that probably doesn't exist because it is baseless and ridiculous! Clay is a decent human being that has done nothing but good with his celebrity and some scum bag comes along and is trying his best to bring him down, but Clay has a fan base like no other and we won't let it happen! This comes from a "straight" male Claydawg fan of Clay's from day one!!!

This junk has gone on way too long. It is time to let it go. Clay Aiken has done so many good things through his foundation, The Bubel Aiken Foundation, Unicef, etc. There are so many goodwill things he has done I can not even remember them all without referring to a list. I for one do not believe for one minute that Clay is gay. Go join his official fan club at www.clayonline.com and you can see pictures that Clay has posted of his recent 2 week vacation to Europe with his female friend. He has also posted 3 blogs about the trip to Europe. While you're at it check out his foundation for children with disabilites at www.thebubelaikenfoundation.com Try reporting something good about people instead of a bunch of dirt that is just plain garbage.

Well I'm glad that someone is backing him up. The whole thing is ludicrous and quite frankly, why should anyone care what his sexual preferences are? It's his business. Everyone needs to drop it and move on.

Shame on Larry King. I thought he was a reputable news anchor. And now he is talking tabloids? Poor Clay. Funny how they don't talk about all of the good deeds he has done.

I feel for the guy. The pile-on is ridiculous overkill. He's probably straight. Who's toes did he step on?

Made up tabloid stuff. Fun, but no substance.
