Paris Rap
hecklerspray reports: Paris Hilton - for all her lazy-eyed, slurring dimwittedness - is very successful. Her TV show is popular, her home sex tape was popular and you only went to see House Of Wax because Paris Hilton was in it.

But one of the biggest aspects of being a success is acknowledging your limitations. And that's not something that Paris Hilton seems capable of doing: if reports are to be believed, Paris is recording an album with Oscar-winning rappers Three 6 Mafia. Hopefully the album will come out soon - there's nothing we'd love to see more than a Paris Hilton / Kevin Federline double-header on Top Of The Pops.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

"Well, you're old age pensioners. By all means make records and go on tour, because if people want to see you, fine, but don't expect to be taken seriously. Your best work is behind you."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Darkness Suck
Contact Music reports: New Australian rock band WOLFMOTHER have lashed out at Brit rockers THE DARKNESS, accusing the group of making rock music sound ridiculous. The Sydney-based band are angry at the success The Darkness have enjoyed with their retro approach - because it betrays 'serious' rock. And they refuse to acknowledge the I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE hitmakers as a real band, claiming the JUSTIN HAWKINS-fronted foursome are nothing more than a comedy act. American Karaoke Update
antiMusic reports: Because we know millions watch American Karaoke... oops... Idol here is a quick update for the few here that actually care. Fox has money to burn from the success of selling ads and product placement in American Idol so they decided to renew their contract with the Official Randy Jackson Parrot, a.k.a. Paula "What he said" Abdul. You can expect Paula's worthless judgments on the show to continue for the next three years.

That guy that beat Clay Aiken by four votes and was never heard from again is launching and after-school program which according to AP is "aimed at keeping young people away from gangs by teaching them the different behind-the-scenes aspects of music production, including song-writing, marketing, accounting and mixing." Only 100 lucky Birmingham kids each year will learn how easy it is to make modern pop and what they are passing off as R&B music. They could teach em rap but the goal is to keep them away from gangs.

Finally, this year's featured dork arrived home to a nerdfest celebration.. more of that at the full story link. - Click Here for the Full Story

No Priest Reality
Blabbermouth reports: Starpulse.com is reporting that JUDAS PRIEST have snubbed the opportunity to appear in a reality TV show because they fear it will cast a shadow over their other achievements. JUDAS PRIEST frontman Rob Halford says, "Everybody is an exhibitionist these days. I've been offered a reality show to get country singers to do a metal-country song in Tennessee. It's mad isn't it?[see full story for more... Bob bless you Rob!]- Click Here for the Full Story

Off The Kobb
Blabbermouth reports: Ultimate-Guitar.com recently conducted an interview with KORN guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer. An excerpt from the chat follows:

Ultimate-Guitar.com: Ever thought of doing a solo album to give these shredding tendencies of yours an outlet?

Munky: "Absolutely, and it's going to happen. At the moment I'm kind of going with the concept of what it is going to sound like. It's going to be an instrumental record and it's going to have a lot of atmospheric and ambient guitar textures and a lot of open cut spaces. But there won't be too much shredding but just enough to get the point across. That is the concept I have about it right now. I'm going to start working on the record after once we get back from an Australian tour in late April."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
