T.I. Murder

Police identified the other three victims in the shooting as members of T.I.'s crew: Janice Gillespie, 22, who was admitted to the University of Cincinnati Hospital and is in stable condition, and T.I. security guard Ronald Hausley, 40, and Elijah Edwards, 31, who were both treated and released. God Vs Gay Aiken?
antiMusic reports: Faded Youth: celebrity terrorist blog has an interesting update on Clay Aiken. For fairness sake, it is readily evident that Faded Youth do not think highly of the karaoke contest runner up and have been following the "gay Clay" controversy rather closely. Their latest story was published on Monday and discusses how Aiken was dropped from the Christian based Pure Fashion Show in Atlanta this past weekend after organizers discovered the gay controversy surrounding the pop singer. Faded Youth included two emails sent out by organizers of the event that explained why Aiken was dropped from the event. That first email said in part "We were so excited about Clay Aiken appearing as a young man who promotes Christianity in the music industry and then we started to be inundated with e-mails referring to scandal. We searched for his public response and couldn't find one, so at this time we will have to error on the side of caution until these matters are resolved. Our producer will be contacting his management team today to let them know that it would be best for him not to appear at Pure Fashion until these questions floating around the media are answered." Despite a legion of rabid Claymates, all does not appear to be kosher in Clayville according to Faded Youth as they details a few other signs that Clay's star may be falling. AC/DC Scam
Blabbermouth reports: Dylan Welch of The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that AC/DC producer and former EASYBEATS guitarist George Young (Malcolm and Angus' older brother) was the victim of identity fraud that has seen aspiring musicians in the U.K. fleeced of thousands of dollars.

A man befriended a series of people at a pub in London, convincing them he was George Young and claiming he managed and produced AC/DC.

But the industry hopefuls ended up with only empty bank accounts and stolen IDs after the fraudster skipped the country after extracting all he could.[so much for doing those dirty deeds dirt cheap. see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

SOAD On Hold
The Gauntlet reports: System of a Down are not breaking up. But if you'd like to catch them live, you may want to consider buying an Ozzfest ticket.

"We're not breaking up," Malakian insisted. "If that was the case, we wouldn't be doing this Ozzfest, because we're a little nervous" about trying to fill Ozzy Osbourne's shoes. Ozzy will be headlining just 10 of this year's Ozzfest dates, with System topping the bill on Ozzy's off days. "We're going to take a very long break after Ozzfest and do our own things," he added. Sad Flea
MTV reports: On Tuesday, RCHP bassist Flea discovered that Stadium had leaked to the Internet (it actually began making the rounds on file-sharing networks over the weekend). But rather than get angry or attempt to get even, he just got sad.

"When I woke up this morning, I was confronted with the news that our record has been leaked to the Internet," he wrote in his latest "Fleamail" on the band's Web site. "Well, that's not very nice. If you download it now off one of those file-sharing sites, you will be getting a pale imitation of the record. It will be of ... poor sound quality ... and that will break my heart. Poor J.Lo
hecklerspray reports: It's a nightmare these days when you can't repeatedly get engaged, married and divorced, dominate department stores with your clothing and perfume range, while claiming to remember your Bronx roots all the way from your California mansion, without being taken seriously. well it is for Jennifer Lopez anyway.

Jennifer Lopez feels people misunderstand her because she is always having fun - nothing to do with her quest for world domination, diva antics and a desire to dance down the aisle with every man in the world then? J-Lo was quoted by Femalefirst as saying:

"They see me laughing, having a good time, and they may think, 'Oh, she's so ambitious and everything', but the thing is that I'm just a creative person." [it goes on, see the full story for that. It's too bad that she is so creative but the results are so generic]

UN Vs Podcasts
tinfoil reports: The UN's World Intellectual Property Organization has reconvened to discuss a treaty that will kill innovative Internet audio/video offerings -- like podcasting, YouTube, Google Video, and Democracy Player -- in order to protect the business models of a few entrenched broadcasters. This is the Broadcast Treaty, and the process -- never pretty -- got uglier than ever today. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
