Kill Lohan
Contact Music reports: LINDSAY LOHAN was so worried about death threats she received after signing on to star in a film about JOHN LENNON's killer, she called on the late BEATLE's widow YOKO ONO for help.

"I actually sat down with Yoko Ono a couple of times to talk to her about it because I wanted to get the 'OK' from her... She was so sweet. "She gave me the confidence I needed. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Exploding Goo
AP reports: MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. - A failure in an underground electrical line apparently caused a series of gas explosions that sent utility hole covers flying and forced cancellation of a Goo Goo Dolls concert, officials say. The blasts Wednesday afternoon forced evacuation of part of the downtown for several hours. The blasts caused some property damage but no injuries, said Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel.[There are easier and safer ways to dizzy up the girls. see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Aiken Must Leave US
MSNBC reports: Kathy Griffin has some career advice for Clay Aiken: leave the country.

The “D-List” star was asked by the Indianapolis Star about what the “American Idol” star — whose career has been tarnished by allegations about his private life — should do to shine up his image. “First of all, major relocation,” Griffin replied. “He has to leave the country. He has to be like Josephine Baker or David Hasselhoff and find a fan base overseas.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Piracy worse than child porn
Inquirer reports: THE NEW look Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) seems to be giving the world an unusual moral code.... It appears that the DMCA will have a maximum sentence of ten years inside for the crime of software and music piracy. It will also give the FBI the powers to wiretap suspected pirates.... assaulting a police officer will get you five years, downloading child porn will get you seven years, assaulting without a weapon will get you ten years and aggravated assault six years.

So in other words if you copy a Disney CD and sell it you will be in the same league as a paedophile who is distributing pictures of sexual attacks on children. [the Feds can't control the border but they want to wiretap DVD and CD pirates? see full story for more on this from CNet]- Click Here for the Full Story

Liberal Homosexual Rally
punkbands reports: An angry parent who recently went to a Fall Out Boy show with his/her (not sure which) daughters in Charlotte, NC fired off a letter to Island Records saying the on-stage antics of the band were reminiscent of a "liberal homosexual rally." I guess Fall Out Boy's brand of gutter punk/hardcore/satan metal wasn't considered "family entertainment." Oh wait... Fall Out Boy play TRL-friendly pop punk. So what's this person's problem? The letter and a response from the band is at the full story link- Click Here for the Full Story

Celine Infected
hecklerspray reports: The long necked, oval faced Celine Dion ain't doing so well. Sure, by some really low standard her career is probably still alright - that's not what we're talking about.

Celine Dion is sick. And she's dizzy. Plus she just realized her husband looks a little more like a pudgy, balding Phyllis Diller than any man ever should. We doubt you'd fare any better given her circumstances. Anyway, her health's got her feeling low - it's an ear infection of sorts.[hecklerspray make smartass into a true artform.. see full story for more fun]- Click Here for the Full Story
