Blabbermouth reports: The SLAYER-headlined
"Unholy Alliance Tour: Preaching to the Perverted", featuring LAMB OF GOD,
CHILDREN OF BODOM, MASTODON, and THINE EYES BLEED, and originally slated
to launch on June 6 (06/06/06) in San Diego, CA will now kick off on June
10 at the East Peoria Convention Center in Peoria, IL.
The postponement of the tour's start date
is due to SLAYER bassist/vocalist Tom Araya's minor gallbladder surgery
which successfully took place late last week. Araya is doing fine, recuperating

complete with a television news "featurette" on the band that succinctly

Sexiest Vegetarian" poll.
Voting is taking place at PETA2.com now,

second year of being nominated amongst other high-profile musicians and
actors who are vegetarians. Additionally, Wilson appeared in a nation-wide
print advertising campaign for PETA2 earlier this year advocating the organization's
efforts to inform people about the vegetarian lifestyle. -

to make antiMusic what it is. So with our 8th anniversary we felt it was
time to spotlight each writer so you can get to know them a little better.
Over the next few weeks we will be posting a small portion of each staff
person's new profile page. So let's get to know Mark Hensch a little better.
Mark has been with antiMusic for over 2
years. He recently took on the task as editor of the relaunched ThrashPit.com
but still keeps up with cool indie bands with his Hensch's Hometown Heroes
series on antiMusic. His first concert was Blink-182 and Green Day when
he was in 7th grade. He lists Shadows Fall, YOB, Enslaved, Mastodon, Nile,
Ogre, Dresden Dolls, Blood Brothers, Pig Destroyer, Indian as his Top 10
Favorite artist. His musical pet peeve is "basically boring, simple, catchy
hook music all about ear candy" His favorite part of antiMusic is "working
