TEXTing GNR Special
antiMusic reports: Tonight Guns N' Roses will return to the stage with the 1st of a string of sold out concerts in New York City. antiMusic has teamed up with TalkingMetal.com to bring you a unique "review" of the concert as it happens. Providing that cell service is available: As the band strikes the 1st note, Talking Metal's Mark Strigl will be texting us updates with details about the show. So you will be getting the details as close to real time as possible as Guns N' Roses make their triumphant return to the stage! 

Because we do not know what time the band will be hitting the stage we can not give you a definite kick off time for this special, but we've set up a special page at the full story link where Mark's updates will be posted as soon as they come in! 

For those in New York City you can join Talking Metal's co-hosts Mark Strigl and John Ostronomy at American Trash on 1st Ave between 76th and 77th Street for the Talking Metal GNR After Party. Band Hires Idol?
Extra reports: In an EXCLUSIVE interview, the multi-platinum rock band Fuel comes to Extra and to say they want American Idol’s eliminated Chris Daughtry! Fuel bass player Jeff Abercrombie and songwriter/guitarist Carl Bell came straight to Extra’s Idol Correspondent Terri Seymour with the offer of a lifetime... they want Chris.

Contact Music reports: GUNS N' ROSES guitarist SLASH offered to join British band the STONE ROSES after their guitarist left, but was knocked back by scathing frontman IAN BROWN. After JOHN SQUIRE announced his departure from the Manchester rockers in 1996, the band were stunned to receive an offer from guitar great Slash. Gigwise reports: Hip Hop star Snoop Dogg has been cautioned by Police in relation to last months brawl at Heathrow airport.

Snoop returned to London yesterday as part of his bail conditions and was given the caution under Section 4 of the Public Order Act for use of threatening words or behaviour, a police spokesman said. Divided By Zero Get Sik
Press Release reports: San Diego based Divided By Zero have announced the West Coast dates for the Sik World Rock N' Roll Circus Tour scheduled to kick off with the band's CD release party June 2ND, 2006 at Brick By Brick in San Diego.

The tour will feature performances by Divided By Zero along with Spike and Mikes' Sick & Twisted Animation , sword swallowers, dancers and midgets. Sik World, Electric Lingerie, and Hardcore Watches will also be giving away prizes on each date of the tour. Divided By Zero's new album The Black Sea , which was produced by Ex-Snot/Soulfly guitarist Mikey Doling and in Los Angeles, will land in stores on June 6th through Sik World Records. Ananova reports: Pete Doherty has been voted one of the greatest rock stars of all time.

The singer came second behind former Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain in the poll by NME.
