MTV reports: The rapper, born Jayceon Taylor, was pulled over for a traffic violation in a Los Angeles suburb on Saturday about 9 p.m., according to a Burbank Police Department spokesperson. AP reports: Nike Inc. and Apple Computer Inc. have teamed up to try to become a runner's best friend. CMJ reports: Eric Bachmann is set to release his new album, To the Races, August 22 on Saddle Creek. This will be Bachmann's first record under his own name, though he has released four albums and performed under the moniker Crooked Fingers since 2000. Blabbermouth reports: Finnish goth-metallers TO/DIE/FOR have set "Wounds Wide Open" as the title of their their fifth album, tentatively due in October. Blabbermouth reports: Gary Graff of Billboard.com is reporting that the members of TAPROOT are considering a future that may not include their current label, Atlantic Records, after the disappointing sales of their third album, "Blue Sky Research". Great White Subpoenas
KNAC reports: Two members of the rock band Great White have been subpoenaed as witnesses in the criminal case of Michael Derderian, owner of The Station nightclub.

Derderian's trial is scheduled for July 31st in Providence. He's charged with involuntary manslaughter for the deaths of 100 people during the February 20th, 2003 fire started by Great White's pyrotechnics. In court papers filed last week, David Filice, Great White's bass player, and Eric Powers, the band's drummer, were named as material witnesses.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
