(TMZ) It's looking like Chris Daughtry isn't going to accept the rock band Fuel's offer to become their new lead singer.
The band offered Daughtry the gig 13 days ago after his surprise elimination from 'American Idol.' But TMZ has learned that Fuel isn't expecting a thumbs-up from Daughtry, and has started to look at other options.[see full story for more]

I don't think Chris was 'allowed' to join Fuel - he already sold his soul to AI - just hopefully he gets out with some muse remaining!

I was stunned when Chris got knocked off. I was sure that he was going to go to the finish. I really think that the girl got by on her looks. I was excited to see that she didn't win.

Chris was the best singer in this season of American Idol, no doubt about that! When he sung together with Live, he made the other "idols" look pale in comparison...

I think Chris is making a mistake by not going with Fuel unless he has a better offer we don't know about. You are the American Idol Chris no matter what you do.
