PR reports: Rhino Entertainment will release Robert Plant's comprehensive 9 Lives boxed set on November 21st, 2006. Driven by an insatiable artistic curiosity, Robert Plant has spent his life as a singer and songwriter chasing new sounds, rediscovering ancient ones and bringing them both together to create something original. Throughout his career - first as a member of Led Zeppelin and then as a solo artist for the past 25 years Plant has tapped a multifarious array of inspirations that span the globe and the ages including Celtic and English folk, American blues, early rock 'n' roll, psychedelic rock and jazz as well as Arabic, Moroccan, West African and Indian music. MySpace Throws Band a Bone

punkbands reports: In a startling turn of events late last night, Baton Rouge indie rockers BONES received the following message from "Tom" himself: "I heard about what happened with your URL. I gave it back to ya...Sorry about that! As we grow in size, sometimes people make decisions I don't know about. This was obviously the wrong decision. The Bones URL is yours once again. "

Reaction from the band: "We're shocked!! And grateful," said Scott Campbell. "Not only did Myspace give us back the www.myspace.com/bones URL, but we received a huge outpouring of moral support from the whole indie rock community over this. Di'Anno Vs Audience

blabbermouth.net reports: Shillong heard. Shillong shuddered. For, the "music capital" of the North-East was just not prepared for Paul Di'Anno's version of hard rock. The former IRON MAIDEN vocalist hollered abuses and turned a relaxed Saturday evening [Nov. 4] at the Polo Grounds into a confused mass.

Mothers, kids in tow, squirmed in their seats as the Englishman and his band of bad boys peppered their performance with four-letter words and more.

Dolby K-Fed Settlement

PR reports: Kevin Federline and Thomas Dolby have reached an out-of-court settlement in their recent copyright infringement case. Federline, husband of pop singer Britney Spears, made an undisclosed cash payment to Dolby to compensate him for the illegal use of a sample from "She Blinded Me With Science" in the song "America's Most Wanted" which appeared on K-Fed's MySpace page this past Spring and received over half a million downloads.

When asked what he intends to do with the money from the settlement, British musician Dolby said: "I'm going to buy a new sailboat, find a quiet anchorage somewhere, make myself a cup of tea and write some brand new songs." Thomas Dolby recently returned to the music business after 15 successful years as a technology enterpreneur in Silicon Valley. He releases a live CD and DVD The Sole Inhabitant on Nov 21st via CDBaby.com and iTunes, and on November 28 will embark on a four-week North American tour with fellow electronica pioneer BT.- Click Here for the Full Story

Doors Box

PR reports: Rhino Entertainment is proud to release The Doors' Perception 40th anniversary boxed set on November 21, 2006. Rhino and Elektra Records salute the 40th anniversary of one of the greatest rock bands of all time with the November 21 release of Perception. The 6-CD/6-DVD boxed set presents all of The Doors' classic studio albums with legendary vocalist Jim Morrison, each supplemented with rare and unreleased audio and video tracks.

Perception was produced in cooperation with surviving band members John Densmore (drums), Robby Krieger (guitar), and Ray Manzarek (keyboards), with The Doors' longtime engineer Bruce Botnick back behind the boards. Each of the six albums is presented with bonus audio - much of it previously unreleased - on a remastered CD along with an additional DVD including a 5.1 DTS encoded Surround Sound mix of the album and additional tracks as well as a photo gallery, lyrics, and discography, and two videos of songs from that album. Damien Rice Tour

PR reports: Damien Rice will begin a tour of the U.S. December 6 on the West Coast. Rice's live performances, which the New York Times has called "irresistible," will feature material from his highly anticipated album, 9. He will also perform songs from 9 on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" November 9 and on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" November 17. Heffa/Vector/Warner Brothers will release the album November 14.

Van Wilder Urge

PR reports: National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj Soundtrack will be available exclusively on MTV's download store Urge beginning November 7th - two weeks before the soundtrack is released in stores on November 21st through Eleven Seven Music. The film, which hits theatres on December 1st nationwide, gives audiences a raunchy collegiate crash course in Party 101. All That Remains Temp

PR reports: Seasoned drummer Tim Yeung (Hate Eternal, Vital Remains) will temporarily join Massachusetts-based metal band ALL THAT REMAINS on the band's current set of scheduled live dates, including a run with fellow Bay Staters Killswitch Engage and a three-week tour with DragonForce throughout the United Kingdom in November and December. Yeung has already made his presence known in the metal world having showcased his playing with Hate Eternal, Decrepit Birth, Vital Remains and Aurora Borealis among others, as well as earning the World's Fastest Drummer title at the 2006 summer NAMM show in Austin, Texas earlier this year. Katt Gun Bust

TMZ reports: Katt Williams was arrested Monday at Los Angeles International Airport for allegedly carrying a stolen concealed weapon.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the arrest occurred at 3 p.m. in Terminal 5. Williams, a popular comedian who recently starred in his own HBO stand-up comedy special, was stopped at the security checkpoint. Security officers found a concealed weapon in his carry-on luggage. The LAPD was called and Williams, who is also a popular rapper, was arrested. Cops determined the concealed weapon was stolen. They also found three additional weapons in luggage that Williams had already checked in.

Williams, who is scheduled to host BET's first ever Hip-Hop Awards later this month, was booked on felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon and several other offenses.- Click Here for the Full Story
