Cream DVD
PR reports: Hailed as rock music's first "supergroup" that set new standards of musicianship with their dynamic blend of rock and blues, CREAM--ERIC CLAPTON, JACK BRUCE AND GINGER BAKER--shot to stardom in 1966 and released four landmark albums before breaking up two short years later in 1968. Now the whole story behind the hugely influential group's formation, the massive success and the break-up is being told in a fully authorized documentary which will be released in the U.S. November 21 by Image Entertainment, Inc. and Impact Film Sales Ltd. The two-disc set features new interviews with CLAPTON, BRUCE and BAKER as well as rock contemporaries, journalists and music industry associates, plus rare performance footage and photos. The CREAM: CLASSIC ARTISTS DVD also includes a bonus audio CD with previously unreleased versions of five tracks from a 1967 radio performance in Sweden ("NSU," "Steppin' Out," Traintime," "Toad" and "I'm So Glad").[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Speakerfire Debut
PR reports: After self-releasing two demos (the latter of which sold over 1000 copies at shows alone), Buffalo New York's Speakerfire hooked up with New Jersey based Piermont Records, who will be releasing their label backed debut, an EP entitled "Audio Alchemy", on November 21st. Unlike the majority of post-teen/early twenty somethings that neglect their alt-rock upbringings in favor of short-lived contemporary trends, Speakerfire proudly embraces it. The result is an engaging and ultra-tight intermingling of arena-style guitar walls with contemporary indie-rock and post-hardcore complexity, soaring vocal anthems, and progressive spacey atmospheric undertones. Corresponding with the album's release, Speakerfire has tourdates booked well into 2007.[see full story for music and dates]- Click Here for the Full Story

K-Poser Slashed
TMZ reports: In a last ditch effort to salvage his failing rap career, Kevin Federline has slashed the price of admission to his concert tour to a whopping... $0.00. Nope, it's not a typo.

Federline, "who comes tight with every rhyme," is giving away tickets to tonight's performance at the House of Blues in Chicago. Why, you ask? Because he had a miserable 20% turnout in New York this past weekend.

Fans (if there are any) can log on to Ticketmaster.com., but it will cost you -- $9.39 in fees and taxes. [the scary thing is that people actually did pay to see him crap... oops rap.]- Click Here for the Full Story

Electra Zombie Glide
PR reports: Tune in to TCM Friday 11 PM PT/ Sat 2 AM ET to watch Rob Zombie host TCM Underground presentation of Electra Glide in Blue. Can't wait til then, click the full story link for a bit of a preview. Here is some basic info on the flick:

Not all lost movies are literally lost...some languish in studio vaults, victims less of time and tide than corporate neglect. Over the last thirty years, there has been precious little ink spilled over Electra Glide in Blue (1973), the only feature film directed by James William Guercio, and its quiet return to the world on DVD is cause for reevaluation. Starring a post-In Cold Blood (1967), pre-Baretta Robert Blake, Electra Glide in Blue is equal parts modern western, biker flick, policier and existential journey-to-self, complete with the then-requisite downer ending that, however it may echo Easy Rider's (1969) sting in the tale, still packs a punch.- Click Here for the Full Story
