GNR Defy The Law
KNAC reports: BW&BK is reporting Wed's GNR show in Toronto was set to go the distance, fines or no fines: In spite of the standard 11 PM curfew at the Air Canada Centre, Guns N' Roses planned to take the stage (November 15th) at 10:30 PM and perform a 2-hour set. Any fines inflicted on the band for breaking the venue's curfew will be absorbed by the band.

In related news, in regards to the release of the band's long-awaited Chinese Democracy album (rumored to be available next week), Universal Music Canada has stated, "We have no indication that a Guns N' Roses record will be released this year." OT: OJ Murder Plot
hecklerspray reports: Imagine for a second that you're a celebrity who'd stood trial for the murder of your ex-wife and her friend. Now, instead of quietly trying to get on with your life, what's the single most guff-headed thing you could possibly do?

Chances are you're currently thinking "Well hecklerspray, I'd imagine the single most guff-headed thing to do in the wake of my murder trial would be to write a book about how the murders would have been different if I'd have carried them out." And you'd be correct, only OJ Simpson has beaten you to it - the massively ill-advised book If I Did It, where OJ Simpson precisely details exactly how he'd have murdered his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman it if was him that got to do it, will be published in a couple of weeks. And, just for the Americans that can't read, OJ Simpson is going to go over the bones of the book in a televised interview with Fox later on this month.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

The lawsuit further alleges, "On or about December 10, 2005, Defendant Jonathan Davis and Plaintiff entered into a valid, binding written contract to settle [a previous case], brought by Arthur Rosenblatt against Jonathan Davis in the Los Angeles Superior Court. …. Arthur Rosenblatt, a collector of criminal artefacts, sued Davis, a former mortuary science student, and his associates, in June 2004 for about $4 million in a 12-count lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, related to a failed attempt to open a museum, according to Reuters.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Cheese Sells
E! reports: With the Country Music Association Awards airing last week, the latest pop chart was supposed to be a Nashville-happy affair. Instead, the latest installment in Now That's What I Call Music! and Josh Groban's Awake rode in ahead of Keith Urban, Sugarland and a surging Carrie Underwood.
