(PR) Dirk Dirksen, who ran San Francisco's Mabuhay Gardens nightclub in the 1970's has died. He's considered by many to be the Godfather of the punk rock scene in that city. Some of the acts Dirksen brought to his club included Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, The Ramones and The Mutants. He got his start in the music industry as a tour manager for Ray Charles, the Supremes and Iron Butterfly. Dirksen was 69 years old. - Click here for the Full Story
