Axl Sick
KNAC reports: The Guns N' Roses concert scheduled for Milwaukee's Bradley Center [Tuesday Night] (November 28th) has been cancelled due to illness.

Guns N' Roses front man Axl Rose is suffering from an ear infection and strep throat. Rose was first diagnosed with the ear infection on the 20th of November in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Borat To Blame
Rockdirt reports: Us Weekly has more details on Pamela Anderson's failed 4-month marriage with Kid Rock that appears to have been prompted largely by the actress' appearance in 'Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan'. "Kid stood outside screaming at Pam, calling her the worst words - slut, whore, you name it," a source who watched the film with Pam and the rocker revealed. "It was horrible, and she was just so hurt by it." A source close to Robert Ritchie confirmed the incident, saying, "Yes, he was angry. iPod Tax?
Reuters reports: Universal Music Group Chief Executive Doug Morris said on Tuesday he may try to fashion an iPod royalty fee with Apple Computer Inc. in the next round of negotiations in early 2007. 

Universal, the world's largest music company, owned by French media giant Vivendi, was the first major record label to strike an agreement with Microsoft Corp. to receive a fee for every Zune digital media player sold.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

pr-inside reports: Reality TV star JACK OSBOURNE is to interview his wildman father OZZY OSBOURNE for a new TV show about how heavy drug users cope after years of abuse.

The 21-year-old, who has had his own well-publicised battle with drugs and alcohol, will question his BLACK SABBATH frontman dad on the darkest days of his addictions. Duff and Madden Split
People reports: It's over for the tattooed rocker and his teen queen: Good Charlotte's Joel Madden and Hilary Duff have broken up after nearly two and a half years together, his manager confirms to PEOPLE.

Solo Patrol
Gigwise reports: Snow Patrol front man Gary Lightbody has revealed that several members of the band including himself are planning solo albums. 

And his own work looks set to be a departure from the usual Snow Patrol sound with Lightbody describing it as having “an electro feel”. Lighbody told the BBC’s Across The Line: "There might be something in the sidelines in that respect, you know. Slipknot in 08
Gigwise reports: The maggots may have to wait till 2008 for a new Slipknot album if the latest update from the band is anything to go by. 

As Gigwise reported back in June the Des Moines, Iowa nine piece have been working on material for the follow up to ‘Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)’. However, M. Shawn Crahan aka Clown says that the band probably won’t hit the studio until the end of next summer or even the beginning of the autumn to start recording. Idlewild Return
Gigwise reports: Idlewild have confirmed the details of their return which will see them release a new album in February. Entitled ‘Make Another World’ the long player is the follow up to 2005’s ‘Warnings/Promises’ and is the first record with new bassist Gareth Russell.

The album will be released by the bands new label Sequel and is said to show a return “return to the bands rock (ish) roots, whilst retaining their fiercely melodic side and talent for supremely catchy hooks.” [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Fu Manchu Say F**k You
blabbermouth.net reports: Orange County fuzz-rock quartet FU MANCHU have set "We Must Obey" as the title of their tenth studio album, which will be released on Feb. 20, 2007 (a day earlier in Europe) via Century Media Records. 

"The title 'We Must Obey' is a big 'F**k you' to people who like to tell us what we can and can't do," says founding guitarist/vocalist Scott Hill. "It's not specifically directed at any one person, just at the thought of someone thinking that they know what's best for you, more than you knowing what's best for you. Vader's 25th
blabbermouth.net reports: Polish death metallers VADER have posted the following message on their official web site: "In 2008 VADER will celebrate the 25th anniversary. On that occasion in March 2007 the band will enter Hertz Studio to re-record 25 best songs from their entire discography. These songs will be released on band's special jubilee album. The release will also feature tons of DVD bonuses like archival recordings, live shows, videoclips and some other specials. Jaroslaw Szubrycht, well-known Polish journalist (who has recently finished a book about SLAYER) will write a biography of VADER. More details will follow soon." pr-inside reports: JIMMY BUFFETT has settled his trademark infringement suit against an online merchandise retailer who has agreed to stop selling items bearing the singer's MARGARITAVILLE brand.

EMI Sale?
FMQB reports: EMI Group says it has been approached by a potential buyer. The announcement came after The Financial Times reported that the music company was in talks with private equity groups about potential bids. The private equity firms, which are believed to include Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Goldman Sachs, are understood to have approached EMI following the collapse of its attempted merger with Warner Music Group and their failure to win the auction for BMG Music Publishing, says the Times. Keyclub reports: The ERNIE BALL BATTLE OF THE BANDS 10 SHOWCASE PARTY is confirmed for Thursday, November 30 at KEY CLUB.
