Joemca Debut
PR reports: Brooklyn-based electronic/indie songwriter Joemca presents his debut EP, out this winter on One Stone Records. This brilliant young artist crafts dreamy hypnotic beats with lush walls-of-sound and occasional accents of distortion. The JOEMCA(jum + ka) EP, which he co- produced with producer/mixer Rob Stevens (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Yoko Ono, Toshi Reagon), employs the catchiest of vocal melodies with dynamic and memorable song structures. It's one of the the coolest five-song debuts out this year, with its first single being “Strangers”. While Joemca's overall sound is admittedly hard to pinpoint, with songs like the lushly sonic “Ode to the Sea” and the sublimely heartbreaking “Panic Friend”, Joemca has been compared to a diverse selection of artists, including Bjork, Rufus Wainwright & Bono.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
