(Gigwise) Pete Doherty's progress in his battle against drugs has been described as a 'mixed bag' by his defence solicitor at court today.

The Babyshambles frontman appeared at Thames Magistrates Court for an update on his ongoing drug rehabilitation program. The series of reviews have been called after the 27-year-old pleaded guilty to drugs possession in August.

Defence Counsel Bruce Clark said: "On the whole, progress is being made," and added that Doherty's appearance had "certainly improved."[see full story for more... yes, it's a slow news day]
