Ozzy & Zakk tour
blabbermouth.net reports: Justin Donnelly of Australia's The Metal Forge webzine recently conducted an interview with guitarist Zakk Wylde (OZZY OSBOURNE, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY).

�Osbourne has got to get this album done. The music is done right now, it's just a matter of the boss singing his balls off, and then it's all good to go. The plan is to have the album released in February next year. By that time, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY will already be touring with the 'Shot to Hell' album. Howard Leese & Friends
PR reports: Guitarist Howard Leese, (Heart/Paul Rodgers) (whose solo album is being recorded for Stuart Smith and Richie Onori's Black (www.blackstarrecords.com) Star Records, label has had Joe Lynn Turner sing a song on the record called "Alive Again." Joe Lynn has also sung a smoking duet with Deanna (www.myspace.com/deannajohnston) Johnston, (Rock Star INXS), called "Hot to Cold" which is possibly being slated for the single. The album is nearing completion and should be released towards the end of this year. Leese says he feels "Alive Again" is one of the best vocal performances he's heard in years and was blown away by Deanna Johnston's performance on "Hot to Cold" and was amazed at how well her and Joe's voices blended together. Rock The Cure
punkbands reports: Everyone in the Philly/New Jersey area; get prepared to Rock The Cure on September 9th. 

Rock The Cure is the fundraiser brainchild of Andrea and Caitlin, cousins and members of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program. The Jealousy Curve, A Paper Tiger, and Backwoods Payback are just among some of the many bands on the bill. iTunes Settlement
music.tinfoil reports: Apple Computer has settled a lawsuit filed by a Vermont-based business owner who claimed the iPod maker stole his software interface design and used it to create iTunes.

Estradasphere Debut
PR reports: Santa Cruz's unclassifiable and eclectic act Estradasphere are gearing up to release their debut album for The End Records, titled 'Palace of Mirrors' (out September 19th), and head out on the road for a full North American tour starting in October (see dates below) On the new album Estradasphere brings together elements from a wide-range of styles (gypsy metal, 60's foreign cinema rock, jazz arrangements, expansive orchestrations) with such perseverance and major focus on the aesthetic of their sound.

MSTRKRFT US Tour
PR reports: There's a punk disco party going in, and MSTRKRFT are ready to man the decks! MSTRKRFT (pronounced 'Master craft') is the project of Toronto musician Jesse F. Keeler (DFA 1979) and studio wizard Al-P, two music-loving dudes who've been itching to make people dance as hard as they've made them rock. As remix kings, they've added their midas touch to songs by Wolfmother, Annie, Buck 65, Nine Inch Nails, and Last Gang label mates Metric among others, but The Looks marks the duo's first studio recording. Filled with tight beats that rock like Daft Punk in bed wih The Clash, The Looks is an electroclash party crammed into shiny little disc.
