Serj Sets Solo CD

. (Blabbermouth) SYSTEM OF A DOWN singer Serj Tankian will end an extended break from the spotlight this fall with the release of his debut solo album, titled "Elect The Dead". The record is currently being mixed and tentatively scheduled for a September/October release. Tankian told Launch what to expect from the project. "The record is a rock record, very kind of epic sounding with a lot of different instruments, a lot of different layers and definitely interesting (laughs)," he said. "I don't know how to talk about my own music really well, I kind of just like having other people draw conclusions. But it's been exciting working on it.
