(CMJ) After a nearly decade-long drought, the world will again taste the live, dripping distortion of the Jesus And Mary Chain. Asked why a reunion, why now, Mary Chain's Jim Reid responded via press release, "Why not?" According to the release, both Reid and his brother William had wanted to reunite for quite some time, their last performance, in 1998, being "such a bloody awful mess... that [it] was no way for the Mary Chain to end." As of yet, there are no plans for future shows or a new Jesus And Mary Chain record, though Jim Reid stated, "Maybe." [see full story for dates] - Click here for the Full Story
