Idolator unearthed the casting call (that's not yet on the network's own poorly-updated web site) that asks women who want to "compete for the love" of this lead singer to apply. the casting call insists that this is not some washed-up, old, B-list rock star; instead, he's still touring. Idolator originally speculated that the rocker could be the Counting Crows' Adam Duritz, Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins, Smasmouth's Steve Harwell, or Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst.
However, the site reported yesterday that it "received multiple tips that the frontman in question is actually Bret Michaels of Poison," even though his band "is not only forever entwined with the '80s."[from the casting call info (at the full story link) it sounds like Fred Durst may be a better call, but if so shouldn't they be casting men?]
