. (blabbermouth.net) Sammy Hagar won't be on the road much this year, besides a few gigs with his group the WABORITAS and his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of VAN HALEN. But that's not to say that he doesn't have plans to make new music. Hagar has been performing recently at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Mexico with former VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith, and he told Launch the three of them might hit the studio together. "We're thinking about, when the CHILI PEPPERS tour is over, about doing a little record," he said.
