Punker Beating Cop Gets Off

(punkbands) The Leominister, MA police have dropped the assault and battery charges on Michael DeLuca, a cop who engaged in questionable conduct when arresting members of the band Cut Throat last August, according to local newspaper Sentinel. Chief of Police, Peter Roddy said he did not know why the charge was withdrawn, and added "I'm sure it was part of an agreement."

The arrest took place on August 12th after a fight broke out at a local show. Band member Joseph Barrett later claimed the Deluca used too much force. The cop claims he "used the force necessary."[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
