. (CMJ) NYC industrial group Mindless Self Indulgence has been asked by iTunes to change the genre that they are filed under. The band is currently categorized as "religious" because of their devout fan base and cult-like following. As a result, angered Christian organizations have filed complaints with the digital music company to get the band's music removed from that category. The group's latest album, You'll Rebel To Anything (Metropolis), peaked at #27 on the iTunes Christian/gospel charts, in part due to several Christians having purchased the group's music, on faith, even though it was marked as being explicit material.
