Goo Goo Dolls Plan Free With Purchase Concert |
Beginning that day when "The Goo Goo Dolls Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 -- The Singles" is released by Warner Bros. Records, fans will be directed by the band's website (www.googoodolls.com) and MySpace page (www.myspace.com/googoodolls) to 20 participating Best Buy locations in Southern California to purchase their copy. The first several hundred people who buy the album will receive one wristband allowing them entry into a special performance in the parking lot atop the Best Buy location at 11301 W. Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles. All wristbands will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Joe Jackson Will Bring Rain in Jan |
While Volume 4 and the seven-month tour that followed featured the reunion of the original, iconic Joe Jackson Band, Rain, was made with three of those four members: Jackson (vocals and keyboards), Graham Maby (bass/vocals) and Dave Houghton (drums/vocals). The record was produced by Jackson, and recorded in his newly-adopted city of Berlin at Planet Roc studios.

The album's nine songs spotlight the Harlem-born singer's signature mix of smooth vocals coupled with warm, supple groove. Sweat puts his unmistakable mark on the classic "The Christmas Song," as well as "Under The Tree," "Once A Year" and "It's Christmas Again"�a trio of songs Sweat cowrote. With "Point Of Christmas," the religious artist pays tribute to the "reason for the season."

Raveonettes Vice |
The Raveonettes' Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo met in Copenhagen in 2001 and recorded their first EP, Whip it On. Soon after, Rolling Stone's David Fricke discovered them at Denmark's SPOT festival and his high praise gained the attention of major labels and magazines. Chain Gang of Love, the band's first full-length record, was released in 2003 and the follow up, Pretty in Black, in 2005.

Rob Garza Releases Dust Galaxy |
In recording DUST GALAXY he enlisted producer Brendan Lynch (Primal Scream, Paul Weller) to push the UK take on older American sounds with more grit and psych, and some guest musicians Shawn Lee, Martin Duffy & Darrin Mooney from Primal Scream, Adam Blake of Cornershop, Jim Townsend (the People's Revolutionary Choir).

As Tall As Lions Road and EP Plans |
The band will release a new digital EP entitled Into The Flood November 29th on Triple Crown/East West
ATAL recorded the EP with Mike Watts over a six day period in October at Vudu Studios in Long Island and are excited for their fans to get a taste of something new before they hibernate in early 2008 to record the follow up to 2006's self titled LP.
