Olehole Somewhat Ink Deal
PR reports: Oakland, CA based quartet Olehole (featuring Brian Moss of The Ghost & Hanalei, Dan Wedgwood of Burial Year & Quest For Quintanaroo, Jackson Blumgart of Quest For Quintanaroo, and Alex Case) has signed, or more officially, verbally shaken hands with Underground Communique Records.

The Chicago label, founded and run by Justin Schwier, has released material from J Church, Report Suspicious Activity, Black Cross, The Methadones, Shotbaker, Pegboy, and countless others.

Underground Communique will be releasing the band's debut full length on compact disc, 12' vinyl, and mp3 format sometime late during the Spring or early in the Summer of 2008. Olehole currently has a handful of self-recorded demos available for stream and download on their - Myspace page

Goo Goo Dolls Plan Free With Purchase Concert
PR reports: In an exciting promotion for their forthcoming release "The Goo Goo Dolls Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 - The Singles," the Goo Goo Dolls will perform a free 30-minute concert on Thursday, November 15th at 7:00pm for customers who purchase their copy of the album from consumer electronics retailer Best Buy on the street date of Tuesday, November 13th.

Beginning that day when "The Goo Goo Dolls Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 -- The Singles" is released by Warner Bros. Records, fans will be directed by the band's website (www.googoodolls.com) and MySpace page (www.myspace.com/googoodolls) to 20 participating Best Buy locations in Southern California to purchase their copy. The first several hundred people who buy the album will receive one wristband allowing them entry into a special performance in the parking lot atop the Best Buy location at 11301 W. Joe Jackson Will Bring Rain in Jan
PR reports: Rykodisc is proud to announce the release of the new Joe Jackson record on January 28, 2008. Entitled, Rain, it's the first Jackson record since the brilliant and critically acclaimed Volume 4 was released in 2003.

While Volume 4 and the seven-month tour that followed featured the reunion of the original, iconic Joe Jackson Band, Rain, was made with three of those four members: Jackson (vocals and keyboards), Graham Maby (bass/vocals) and Dave Houghton (drums/vocals). The record was produced by Jackson, and recorded in his newly-adopted city of Berlin at Planet Roc studios.

Have a Very Sweaty Christmas

Raveonettes Vice
PR reports: Vice Music is ecstatic to announce their newest signing, The Raveonettes. With three critically acclaimed releases under their belt and over 170,000 records sold in the US, the Danish rock duo will release Lust Lust Lust in early 2008, with a US tour to follow.

The Raveonettes' Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo met in Copenhagen in 2001 and recorded their first EP, Whip it On. Soon after, Rolling Stone's David Fricke discovered them at Denmark's SPOT festival and his high praise gained the attention of major labels and magazines. Rob Garza Releases Dust Galaxy
PR reports: Thievery Corporation producer Rob Garza is coming out with his own album on Nov. 6th. Dust Galaxy is a personal musical reflection for Garza.

In recording DUST GALAXY he enlisted producer Brendan Lynch (Primal Scream, Paul Weller) to push the UK take on older American sounds with more grit and psych, and some guest musicians Shawn Lee, Martin Duffy & Darrin Mooney from Primal Scream, Adam Blake of Cornershop, Jim Townsend (the People's Revolutionary Choir).

As Tall As Lions Road and EP Plans
PR reports: As Tall As Lions have announced some December tour dates with Silverchair and The Receiving End Of Siren.

The band will release a new digital EP entitled Into The Flood November 29th on Triple Crown/East West

Testament Reissues
PR reports: Prosthetic Records is proud to announce reissues from Bay Area metal legends Testament. Both to feature new liner notes, 1997's 'Demonic' was remastered and 1999's 'The Gathering' will include the previously only available in Japan, "Hammer Of The Gods".
