The following story was part of the Day in Rock Report for 5/14/08 - (antiMusic) Starting off as a slow news day but here are some bits for you. First off, Coldplay have extended their upcoming U.S. tour. Before you get your hopes up, they only added two dates to the outing. November 7th in Orlando, Florida at some arena lamely named for a corporation and November 8th in Miami, Florida at "Say Hello To My Little Friend" arena. Sorry, it has a lame corporate name too. Folks in those cities will know where they are.

Australian musician Nick Cave joined by his clan of Bad Seeds have extended their North American tour with a couple new shows. Don't miss out on your chance to see live organ and 12-string lute! dates

Robyn had to postpone the following live dates on her US tour, 5/13 in Portland and 5/14 in Seattle due to TV commitments. These dates are currently being rescheduled for early fall, and are due to be announced within the next two weeks. All ticket holders should hold on to their tickets as they will be valid for the upcoming rescheduled shows.

Alanis Morissette opens up about her new album, Flavors of Entanglement. You'll hear Alanis' personal thoughts on the album in this video clip as well as info about the upcoming tour and her inspiration behind the single "Underneath.". Flavors of Entanglement is due out in the US on June 10th. watch the video here

It Dies Today is currently working on a new album. The effort has been titled "Lividity" and will be available this fall via Trustkill Records. Singer Jason Wood elaborates: "We're really pumped about this new record! Lividity is a medical term (as I am a huge fan of CSI) that means when you die all your blood in your body settles, so where you're lying is a bruise covering that part of your body. more

Pendulum have just released their U.S. debut album, In Silico. The UK band fuses hard-rock guitars with trance rhythms and techno beats. One critic described their high-energy sound as, "�if Jean Michel Jarre teamed up with Prodigy and jammed with Tool guitarist Adam Jones." Rob Dickinson, former frontman of highly influential British band Catherine Wheel is set to re-release his debut solo album, Fresh Wine For The Horses. The album will be released as a two disc set on June 10th. The album will be released with one new song, "End Of The World". The bonus disc will contain 6 acoustic versions of classic Catherine Wheel songs. Check out the mp3 of the single

Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions are finalizing a deal for U.S. rights to the politically charged Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young documentary "CSNY -- Deja Vu." The feature, directed by Neil Young, chronicles the rock group's 2006 tour in support of Young's "Living in War" album. more

Murphy Lee is debuting the new video for "Murph Derrty," the first single from his upcoming album You See Me. Best known for "Shake Ya Tailfeather" and "Wat Da Hook Gon Be," Murphy Lee returns to the scene with another derrty track. watch it here

Larry Levine, the recording engineer who helped Phil Spector re-invent rock 'n' roll music with his "Wall of Sound" technique and won a Grammy for his work with Herb Alpert, died on his 80th birthday, his family said Tuesday.
