Black Crowes Nix Date
headbangernyc reports: The Black Crowes show on Thursday, October 30th at Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict.

Fans holding tickets for the canceled October 30th show will be able to use their tickets for The Black Crowes shows on either October 27, 28 or 31 at the Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom or be issued a refund from the original place of purchase. - more on this story

Testament Hire Mega Temp
Adrenaline reports: Bay Area thrash legends Testament have recruited guitarist Glen Drover (ex-Megadeth, King Diamond) to fill in for Alex Skolnick on their upcoming Mexican tour dates with Judas Priest.

Due to Alex's prior commitment to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the band sought out Glen Drover to fill in. The band rehearsed together all week and sounds sharper than ever!

Glen says, "I am really looking forward to playing these 4 upcoming shows in Mexico with my buddies in Testament, along with Judas Priest. We are totally going to crush!"

Darker My Love Headlining Tour
PR reports: With an acclaimed new album, sold out dual-city residencies, and a jaunt supporting The Dandy Warhols already under their belt in 2008, Darker My Love will wrap up a whirlwind year with their own North American headlining tour.

Continuing their non-stop support of their sophomore album, 2, released August 5 on Dangerbird Records, the tour will kick off November 13 in San Francisco.

Gojira Top Chart, Plan Tour
PR reports: Gojira catapulted to the top of Billboard's New Artist chart this week with the release of The Way Of All Flesh, the band's second release for Prosthetic Records, while simultaneously debuting at #138 on the Billboard Top 200.

Lamb of God's Randy Blythe (who contributed vocals to "Adoration for None") says of the French quartet, "There's a beauty to their music because of he mindset behind it. They're very conscientious people, and everything they do is affected by their environment."

No End in Sight for Pro-Pain
