Stabbings Were Meant To Put An End To The Cro-Mags?
(Classic Rock) The Cro-Mags have issued a statement following former bassist Harley Flanagan's maniacal attack on current band members during New York's CBGB's Festival.

Flanagan, one of the founders of The Cro-Mags, slashed two members of the band with a knife in the VIP area of the Big Apple's Webster Hall. Flanagan was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

"They think they're going to play my f**** music that I helped write?" Flanagan allegedly yelled before stabbing William Berario and Michael Couls, the latter being the band's current bassist.

The band said in part in their statement, "Who knows what his actual intent was, obviously he wasn't there with it to cut bread for a peace offering as he was heard saying outside he was putting an end to us playing without him. Let's move on now and stop the trash-talking." Read the full statement here.
