The band opened their 22-song set with "Mutherf***er Of The Year" from 2008's "Saints Of Los Angeles" before kicking in to songs from their 30-plus year career.
But problems began to develop early in their set, according to MLive. Tommy Lee reportedly broke the head on his kick drum three songs into the performance. That forced Mick Mars to fill the time with a guitar solo, which Mlive says ran out of steam and the crowd grew restless as the house lights came up during a 10-minute delay. That was only the beginning. Read more and watch the video

The Def Leppard guitarist praises Kiss - who are currently on a mammoth co-headlining tour with Leppard - but is adamant he wasn't bothered about following in their bootprints.
He tells Shmonty And Conklin's radio show: "I think it's great that Kiss got in there. They should be there. They're an American band 40 years and they've been snubbed.
"For me, I really don't care, whatever. The way I look at it, I've got two diamond albums sitting on my mantelpiece - that's 10 times platinum. I've got two albums. That means the fans went out and bought it, so that means a lot more to me."

Dickinson recently singled out Halford in an interview with The Guardian, saying, "I never realized that people were using Autocues ('teleprompters'). What the f*** is that all about? People pay good money and you can't even remember the sodding words. The daftest one I ever saw was [Judas Priest's] Breaking The Law. It's on the f***ing Autocue. "Breaking the law, breaking the law/Breaking the law, breaking the law/Breaking the law, breaking the law/Breaking the law" - guess what? - "breaking the law." It's ludicrous."
"What we British say is it was just a storm in a teacup," Halford tells 107.7 The Bone in San Francisco. "I love Bruce. He's a great friend of mine. And he's very outspoken. He's a great frontman, a great singer from a great band. And, you know, these things are said in many ways, and I'm sure he didn't mean it in any other way than Bruce sometimes goes off in one of his rants. You know, it's just the way it goes. But, yes, storm in a teacup. Storm in a metal teacup."

Next year will make 10-years since the American rockers last released a new album with 2005's Mezmerize and Hypnotize and Dolmayan says the band have to find a way through their "issues".
He tells Loudwire: "I'm not really happy with where the band is right now. I think that it's been way too long since we've made an album and I've kind of had enough of the mentality of 'That's okay.' It's not okay. I feel like this band still has a lot of issues, things we just have to work out."
He says later, "To go in together and work together? We're different people - 2005 was the last time we were in the studio together. That's what, nine years ago? We're turning into the f***ing Eagles now. Fifteen years are gonna go by before we make a new album."

The band's sixth studio album also entered the charts in the Top 10 in most European markets and top 20 in most remaining territories. Once More 'Round the Sun is also the No. 1 rock/metal album in the U.K.-another first for the guys.
Mastodon guitarist and "Golden Axe" Explorer creator Bill Kelliher says he took a "less is more" approach to the guitar lines for Once More 'Round the Sun.
"There have been some records we've done where I'm laying tons of guitars all over the place, and not to say I didn't do that again, but every time I went into the studio, I tried to get the best guitar tones possible and really focus on that," he told Gibson.com.
Mastodon recorded Once More 'Round the Sun in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz, who has worked with Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Deftones, Rush and more. It's the follow-up to Mastodon's The Hunter, which also made the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart.

Johnny Solinger has fronted Skid Row since 1999. Sabo tells Planet Loud Rock: "We're constantly asked about a reunion and have been since the 20th anniversary and the offers have been phenomenal but, for me, I don't know, at this point I don't have an interest in it.
"It's not like I have any hatred for it or anything like that, I'm where I'm at right now and it feels really good." He also discusses the band's early days and recalls the fact his friend Jon Bon Jovi championed Skid Row led to accusations they were a manufactured act.

"All Is By My Side" covers a year in Hendrix's life from 1966-67, following his path as an unknown backup guitarist playing New York's Cheetah Club to making his mark in London's music scene upright up until his triumphant performance at the Monterey Pop festival.
The film, which debuted last fall at the Toronto International Film Festival, does not include any of Hendrix's music as the family-run estate refused to grant permission for the use of any material. Instead, producers feature cover songs performed by the guitarist and re-recorded especially for the project.

He tells TotalRock: "I said no to Vista Chino, I said no to Hermano and I'm saying no to Unida. I love all those bands to death but it was time to say yes to this collection of songs that I've had in my bedroom for so many years - finally."
The singer admits he is nervous about revealing his solo tracks - which include contributions from Robby Krieger and Danko Jones - to the world. He adds: "I'm nervous, but excited nervous. I've talked about it and waited for so long and I've felt so sad for this cardboard box that sat in my corner that held all of these songs.
"I looked at them and I was like 'Hold on, just wait a minute'. Finally after all these years to have Robby Krieger from The Doors play on this record, to have Danko Jones write me a song and have all these other composition that were so close to me finally come out, it's a very personal record."

The previously unreleased recordings feature founding Flock members Fred Glickstein on vocals and guitar, drummer Ron Karpman and bass player Jerry Smith on what was supposed to have been the band's fourth album.
Pioneers of the jazz fusion scene of the 70s, The Flock featured violin hero Jerry Goodman who played on the band's first two albums - 1969's self-titled debut and 1970's Dinosaur Swamps. After Goodman left, The Flock released Inside Out on Mercury Records in 1975, and though the band was dropped from the label soon after, Glickstein and Karpman continued to write and record together in anticipation of a new recording contract.
No deal arrived though and those recordings were shelved away and never released until now.
