Menza says he was in his front garden, looking at the moon with his two sons, when four moving lights appeared in the sky and began dancing around each other.
He admits he doesn't know what it was, but adds that four witnesses saw the "totally awesome" display. "It had the shape of a triangular object with rounded tips, glowing yellow and white," he says. "We lost sight as it went up through the clouds.
"I know what I think it was - I would like to hear from others who may have seen the same thing, or anyone who has a reasonable explanation." Check out the video

Watkins, 37, said through his solicitor Sally O'Neill QC that he was treated too harshly by judge Justice Royce, who handed down the minimum 29-year jail term as well as an additional six years on licence.
According to the BBC, she told the court that while his offences were serious, they "were not the worst that could happen." She also argued that Watkins deserved a reduced sentence for his guilty plea, which avoided the need for disturbing evidence to be produced in court.
Lord Justice Pritchard, sitting with two other appeal court judges, rejected his appeal.

Love spoke with the Philippine Daily Inquirer and gave some insight as to just how this whole thing will go down, when it goes down. "I don't want to be the person who makes that decision," Love said, regarding who will play Cobain in the eventual film.
"Some beautiful blond, tragic, gorgeous actor boy is hitting on me, and why? He wants to play Kurt. So I am moving that over to the agency side. I am not Cecil B. DeMille or anything like that."
This doesn't mean that she won't have any creative control. "I do have a say in it," adds Love. But she's not
alone.
With a tour on the immediate horizon, Rolling Stone points out Edgar has released a statement on Facebook about his brother and how the upcoming Rock 'n Blues Fest Tour will be reconfigured to pay tribute to Johnny:
My wife, Monique, and I are shocked at the suddenness of Johnny's passing, especially since I was so looking forward with such joy and anticipation to seeing him again and playing together. I know his body is departing this physical realm, but his presence, his music, and his spirit are undiminished, and alive as ever in my heart.
Johnny has always been, is now, and will forever remain my greatest musical hero of all time. But more than all that, he's my brother-in family, in music, in life and beyond. I will do my best to carry on in honor of his memory and the Winter name.
The upcoming tour will now feature a selection of songs typically associate with Johnny, performed by all involved, which includes the Edgar Winter Band, Vanilla Fudge, Rare Earth member Peter Rivera and Savoy Brown's Kim Simmonds.
Johnny Winter collaborator Rick Derringer will guest on the tour's final two nights. Dates and more details

Zombie posted a message on Facebook on Tuesday explaining to fans what happened, "I am very sorry to everyone who was at RockFest. Believe it or not this is the first time in 29 years I have not been able to finish a show. I have played through many many nights with a f***ed voice. I knew it backstage but came out and tried anyway, but failed.
"I understand people are pissed, but what can you do? It is easy to say 'man up and just do it' but when no sound is coming out there is nothing you can do. If you have ever lost your voice before, then you know it doesn't magically return just because you want it to.
"If there was a way to do the show I would have done it, as I have many, many times before. F***, I done shows where I walked to the side of the stage between songs to vomit I was so sick. Whatever. I'm not looking for sympathy and I don't expect anyone care but these are the facts.
"As far as everyone yelling 'I've been a fan for 20 years and now I f***ing hate you! you pussy rockstar!' What can I say f***ing sh*tty stuff happens sometimes. I tried explaining it into the mic before I left the stage but I could barely croak out a word. Do you think their was any upside to that show for me? Nope, it's all a big f***ing mess that I wish never happened. We are trying to figure out a time and place to make it up to everybody.
"I don't take the fans for granted and I don't take this situation lightly. My goal is to never let the fans down, but on that night I did. Unfortunately I had no choice."
On the band's website, Corgan wrote, "So it's done now, Monuments for an Elegy that is; and what a relief." There, he referred to it as 'for an elegy' rather than 'to an elegy'; it's unclear whether it was a typo or if the album title has changed.
The album, which features Mtley Cre's Tommy Lee on drums for all nine songs, only needs to be mixed. Corgan opened up about the recording process in his post, writing that the album just poured out of him.
"M2AE was one of the easiest and most pleasurable albums I've ever made," he said. "Yes, the lesser number of songs helped, as did the focus on material that was worthy of repeated effort. But as a process (I hate that word, but it applies here), making the album was a grand 'ol time. Or as they used to say back in the day: making MONUMENTS TO AN ELEGY, we had a gay 'ol time."

The band say he's been "playing through pain" after suffering a rotator cuff tear, but he'll miss their upcoming shows in Australia, New Zealand and North America while he seeks treatment.
COC will tour with former Kylesa man Eric Hernandez in his place. They explain: "Reed has been awaiting a strategic time to repair the full tear. That's a seriously bum shoulder, so he's going to get that repaired and rehabbed."

Frontman Cristian Machado tells Arena.com that the album will surprise a lot of people. He adds: "I don't think we're the kind of band that releases the same album over and over. We always attempt to challenge ourselves musically in order to grow as artists and friends.
"The new album will have its surprises and all I will say is that it is very catchy and very groove-oriented. The lyrics, I feel, are by far the best lyrics I've ever written, and I really do give the guys in the band so much credit for writing such amazing songs for this new album."

The run of concerts during March and April saw the classic lineup of Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster and John Coughlan reuniting for what they've insisted was the final time.
Their performance at Dublin's O2 venue takes pride of place in the set, but an additional CD features 14 tracks recorded during other stops on the tour. The band say: "It all led to Dublin - the final show of the final tour. Ever.
"Quo commemorate one very special night with this release, available on 2CD, double-vinyl, DVD and Blu-ray. As well as the full concert, visual formats contain a CD made of highlights from the final tour. The Blu-ray also has the documentary made by Sky News' Ian Woods entitled The Final Fling?"

According to Havok's Indigogo page, The Violent is set in the mid 90s amongst a tight-knit group of punks and skins. The film follows a teenager in his final year of high school as he is led down a path of crime, and must ultimately reconcile his own violent nature, or be consumed by it.
Havok, who will act in the film will also co-produce with Foo Fighters' "White Limo" video director, Kelly Jones, and Clint Carney, visual artist and singer for System Syn. This isn't Havok's first acting gig. For a few weeks in 2011, the singer played the lead role on Green Day's American Idiot Broadway play.
"I love the script," professes Havok in a press release. "I was telling Clint how much I liked it and he offered me a chance to be a part of the film which I was very happy to take. The Violent really appealed to me because it was so genuine. I think it represents a culture that existed in the 90s that people are vastly unaware of. If they weren't part of that culture I think it's a great look into that world, into the world of punks and skins, as well as representing a broader look into youth culture."
"This is the story of violence," explains Carney. "Not just physical violence but emotional violence and the trauma that you endure just growing up and coming into your own, and just realizing who you are and what your place is in the world."

It's been a difficult few years for the group, with personnel changes and various side projects, but they reunited under the watchful eye of producer Fredrik Nordstrom to record Beloved - their first album in six years.
Speaking about the album, lead guitarist/vocalist Jona Weinhofen, says: "We've really extended ourselves, but we've done it in a way where it's tasteful and it makes sense to the music. It's not like we've gone from sounding like a metalcore band to sounding like Dimmu Borgir. It still sounds very much like Prom Queen."
The band's lineup has now been cemented with Weinhofen joined by guitarist Kevin Cameron, lead vocalist Jamie Hope, drummer Shane O'Brien and bassist Benjamin Coyte.

The event is being staged in the town's St Stephen's Church by the John Bonham Memorial Fund, who hope to bring in a total of 50,000 for the design and installation of a permanent tribute to him in the centre of Redditch, south of Birmingham.
Organisers Clem and Sam Dallaway say: "Over the years, many people - and not just Redditch folk - have asked why there isn't some form of permanent tribute to John in the town where he was born, grew up, went to school and, for a time, worked.
"We're making steady progress. From the outset, we were determined to do this properly and with total transparency. We are doing this for John's memory and not for personal gain."

"Any band that occupies the metal genre with success can only be good for metal as a whole. The aforementioned petition is not what metalheads truly believe."

Before that they'll launch a single entitled Danse Macabre on September 8, with a full-length album due next year. Prog recently said of the band: "Purson occupy that space where the shadows cast by candlelight loom large across everything. Do give them your attention."
Their debut album The Circle And The Blue Door was described as "an exploration of the recesses of reality, set to a soundtrack of the three Bs - the Beatles, Bowie and Black Sabbath, creating a marriage of dream and nightmare, a sonorous and idyllic tour of the psyche, that threatens to turn into a bad trip at any point."

But it's time for H to return to his singer-songwriter roots, and, most importantly, his upcoming HAS-Retuned album The Light Broke In, on track for a September release.
"We'd like to extend a warm welcome to Andy, whose work we've admitted at close quarters on many occasions. He's been working to add layers of hitherto unheard sophistication to the band's live sound."

Theart tells GetYourRockOut: "You have to have the hunger, and after all this time, I've still got the hunger. Everyone else doesn't necessarily feel the same way about it as I do, and there you go. Things move on.
"I'm out here to be onstage and do music, and that's all I care about. And I wanna surround myself with people that feel the same way. Onwards and upwards."

But he resigned just as the band were gearing up to record Ballbreaker in 1995 after an argument with mainman Malcolm Young, which led to Phil Rudd's second stint behind the kit.
Slade tells Music Radar: "I'd been doing demos with the guys in London for two months, when Malcolm called and said they wanted to give Phil a try. I said, 'That's me out then - I'm gone.' Mal said, 'No, we want to keep you on. We don't even know if Phil can play.' I told him that was his problem now."
He recalls his attitude at the time was "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and adds: "They wanted to keep me on for months and months, and that didn't feel right. I resigned the next day."

In a recent interview with BigMusicGeek, the singer set the record straight. Keifer says: "Jon is credited with discovering the band - or his interest actually led to a record deal.
"But if you went back a couple of years, Gene Simmons was actually the guy who took an interest in the band, although it didn't lead to a deal for one reason or another.
"I guess in terms of discovery, you really could credit Gene, even though both Gene and Jon showed an interest."

Bayley's tenure with the band saw many fans turning away, especially in the UK. But two decades on, he believes they think better of his time with the NWOBHM giants.
He tells Get Your Rock Out: "People seem a lot more interested and view my period with Iron Maiden in a much different way. I think people take a fresh look at it now and go, 'Well, the albums were the start of a different era of Iron Maiden. And outside the UK people are a lot more fond of those albums."
He reflects: "It's 20 years ago that I joined Maiden and it's 30 years since I started singing - all those kind of anniversary dates have come together." More including a stream of the interview

Squire says: "Working with Jon for the first time as a writer makes it another chapter in Yes' history of various people being in the band, leaving and new ones coming in. It makes it exciting."
Guitarist Steve Howe adds: "Every album's different - different time, different sensibility, and maybe a different mood too, which comes through in the music. Jon's a very fine musician."
Davison comments: "Ever since I joined the band I've been preparing for this album. It's so neat to hear the band take on what I've offered, interpret it differently and add their own flavours."
