Jurors at Polk Country District Court, Iowa, came to their verdict after two days, in what's believed to have been the first trial of its kind in the US state. They decided there was insufficient evidence to suggest Baldi should have known a death was likely as a result of his actions.
One juror told the Des Moine Register: "I didn't understand why he was on trial - I was waiting for a smoking gun of some sort. It never appeared." A patient of Baldi's who attended the full trial to show her support said: "I could think of no other place to be - he has always offered me so much kindness and compassion."

Maidiotis has launched a "Knighthood of Ozz" Facebook page, where she posts messages from fans across the world who want to see Ozzy knighted, including his daughter, Kelly Osbourne, who tweeted, "This really needs to happen."
The online petition currently has just over 4,300 signatures. It needs 5,000. "I am campaigning for Ozzy Osbourne to receive a Knighthood, as he thoroughly deserves this honour not only for all his charity work but for all his years entertaining us and helping make a difference to peoples' lives who have looked up to him," Maidiotis says in the page's mission statement.
Madiotis thinks the timing is good, too. Speaking with Birmingham Mail, she explained, "As Black Sabbath are set to perform at Hyde Park, London, on July 4, it would be a fitting tribute to Ozzy if we were to reach our target in the days following their performance."

The concerts in Sheffield (Friday), Liverpool (Saturday) and Durham (Sunday) will be rescheduled for December. Fish says: "Robin is too ill to perform. He arrived at the studio on Monday and was obviously unwell. On Tuesday he started to come out in a serious rash, which has worsened in the last days.
"He is still infectious - but luckily the rest of the band and crew have all had chicken pox and are relatively safe. There is a potential risk to members of the public who have not contracted it before, and with adults the infection cannot be treated lightly."

The band is launching the live stream to celebrate the recent release of their new single, "Devil from the Moon." The stream will be taking place live on YouTube at 12:30 AM PST/3:30 AM EST and at 5:30 PM local time in Australia.
The single comes from the band's forthcoming album which was produced by David Ivory. The band had this to say, "Working on the new album with David was an unforgettable experience. He instinctively recognized what was necessary to manifest the essence of Strange Karma and mould it into something that appeals to a worldwide audience.
"During our collaboration, David connected with us both on a musical and personal level. His intrinsic ability as a producer to bring out the best in us as musicians has led to the creation of an authentic live performance experience and an honest representation of the Strange Karma sound."

Another song we did with the talented Eric Bass. This was the very last song we wrote for the album, and is one of my favorites. I remember 2 am us just going into the live room at the studio, and just saying "let's have fun with this one. No rules, just write." "We are all a little wicked. Heaven sent; halos twisted."
We are all jadedwe all possess that flawwhatever it may be for any given person. Humans in general are not the kindest of species. We bitch & moan about things, instead of taking the time to fix them.
We preach about kindness towards others, yet yell at the homeless man we pass on the walk to work every morning. It's very easy to point out the flaws in others; it's hard as hell though to take accountability for your own problems. That was the idea behind that song.
