Campbell wrote to fans on Tuesday via his Facebook page, "Home... So glad that's over. Time to recover/recuperate and grow some hair. Thanks for all the love you've sent - much appreciated! Normal service will be resumed shortly."
Prior to the treatment, Vivian wrote the following message to fans on September 29th on his Facebook page, "As many of you know, I've been scheduled to start a stem cell transplant and as soon as I got home from tour I began the necessary tests and preparations. I'll be admitted to hospital soon for all the yucky bits, so in the meantime I'm headed to Target to stock up on cozy pajamas, fresh underwear, and a sackful of car-porn."
He continued, "While I can't say that I'm looking forward to the process ahead, I'm very much looking forward to what I feel will be a most successful outcome. Next year will be very busy for Def Leppard with a new album and a world tour, and frankly, I don't think they would sound as loud without me, so I have no intention of letting the team down! See you all (with hair!) in 2015."

An insurance agreement was in place to cover commercial issues on the road - but underwriters say the tragedy falls outside the terms of their agreement. It's argued that Scott was suffering a pre-existing mental illness, which means they're not liable to pay.
Now a federal judge in Utah - where she was born and raised - has given the insurers permission to investigate her background, including gathering evidence and testimony from Scott's brother Randall Bambrough. Read more

The new album, entitled "Only To Rise," is set to be released in North American on January 27th. Apart from Sweet and Lynch, the group also features James Lomenzo (Megadeth / White Lion) and Brian Tichy (Whitesnake / Billy Idol / Foreigner/ Ozzy).
Michael Sweet had this to say, "When I was approached to help put together an all-star lineup, instantly I thought of George Lynch. George is one of the most talented guitarists out there and a 'bucket list' player for me. George wrote riffs/basic ideas and I wrote melodies, lyrics and arranged and completed the songs. I knew that we would compliment each other's style.
"When you add the amazing rhythm section of Brian Tichy and James Lomenzo, you just can't go wrong with this line-up. It really is a special project and I'm honored to be a part of it!"

Dokken tells The Classic Metal Show: "It's hard to replace Jeff Pilson. He plays with a pick, which I like. I don't like people that play with their fingers. It's not the same. I like Peter Baltes-type bass players who play with a pick, and Sean doesn't.
"And so it didn't have a lot of 'attack.' And I needed a really killer singer that was as accomplished as Jeff Pilson. And he was sorely missed, you know. So I meet Mark Boals, who's played with Ted Nugent. He did four albums with Yngwie Malmsteen and he's a great lead singer."
Dokken also says that McNabb was not as dedicated to the band as he would have liked. Read his comments

Frontman Dani Filth says it has a working title of Hammer Of The Witches. Filth says, "Nuclear Blast owner Markus Staiger has been trying to snare the band ever since I flew over to see him way back in 1996 as a viable label option, after we left Cacophonous Records. He barely missed out due to the close proximity to the band of Music For Nations, the label that Cradle stayed with until 2001.
"For the full frontal assault we have planned for the awesome new album, Nuclear Blast are the perfect war stallion to carry us screaming into the heart of the next chapter of Cradle Of Filth's dark, enigmatic history."

"We're still talking," Lee tells Rolling Stone. "Everybody has a different idea how they want to spend the next couple of years, so we haven't come to a decision. I'm ready and happy to play if everyone else agrees. I think in the next couple of months we'll decide to do something or not."
The group's last release was 2012's "Clockwork Angels", and they'll likely hit the road again before making another one. "My guess is that there would be a tour first," says Lee. "But I'm itching to just play and record. I would like to make another album, but I don't know where the other guys' heads are at about that. I know Alex is ready to write."
Lee adds he's not implying that drummer Neil Peart is the holdout. "It's a group thing," he says. "It's one of those things where everybody enjoyed their break so much. It doesn't feel like it was very long ago that we played our last show in Kansas City. So it's like, 'Do we have to talk about this already?' But slowly we're getting around to figuring it out."

Lemmy tells the Huffington Post: "We're hearing a lot of guff about young male musicians requesting peppermint tea and biscuits rather than Jack Daniel's and strippers. Do you think the identity of the male rock star has changed?
"It depends who you're talking to really, doesn't it. I mean some people are still wild, although it's getting more and more difficult and some people, you know, like the mineral water. I don't know. I have to drink some of that sh*t now, but there you go."

The project features material recorded by Gilmour, Mason and keyboardist Rick Wright during sessions for 1994's "The Division Bell", and serves as the band's tribute to Wright, who died from cancer in 2008 at the age of 65.
"I think on this record, there's an element of homage and a recognition of Rick," explains Mason. "It's perhaps making up for lack of recognition prior to this. He's always perhaps been the unsung hero."
"We could not have made this record 20 years ago. It would have been impossible," adds Gilmour. Read more and grab the link to listen to the full episode

Her first album with the band launched earlier this year via Century Media and the singer reveals she also brought a new balance to the group's ninth studio album.
She tells SkullsNBones: "I made a conscious effort to write a little bit like Angela - but guitarist Michael Amott also wrote some of the lyrics so those are automatically Arch Enemy.
"The end result was a good balance - opening new doors to more experimental, progressive zones while keeping that traditional Arch Enemy sound. We have the extremes of softness and heaviness on the album."
