Trout's wife Marie admits the situation feels like deja-vu and explains: "The liver biopsy ended up either activating internal bacteria or inserting new ones in the bloodstream.
"Walter felt great before the biopsy. As soon as he woke up after it, he was shivering, and quickly developed a fever, low blood pressure, quick pulse, and irregular heart beat - the sure signs of serious infection.
"The biopsy thus directly caused it or activated it. But either way, he has another bout of sepsis." Read more

He said, "As far as the industry is concerned, rock 'n' roll is very much the ugly cousin. I sort of dig that because it provides a certain sense of rebellion and attitude that was missing. And all the popular so-called heavy metal bands that do make it to radio are so conformist that I can't stand them.
"All the real heavy metal bands, they've been doing the same thing for years and years on the same level, and they keeping putting out music and doing what they do. I like that.
"The quality of commercial music is in the toilet, but the people who do it for real and mean it are still fantastic. They just don't have the outlets they used to have."

Now former Anthrax man Rob Caggiano says they're looking at next August to lay down fresh material. He tells Soundcrave Magazine: "We have been floating around some ideas. We'll probably go back to the studio next year, maybe in August. We'll start getting into creative mode and start doing some stuff."

And he says if he can find like-minded musicians to record with again and the time is right, it's something he would pursue. He tells One On One With Mitch Lafon: "I'm still curious about other things that can be made in music - that's just my nature as a musician. I think if you've a sense of what could happen if you hooked up with this person or that person, then why stop yourself?
"Having said that, Priest is the love of my life in metal and I get a lot of the things I want as a metal musician from this band. I'm interested, but Priest comes first for me." Read more

Middleton says: "The title Dormant Heart refers to people going through life on autopilot and being one of the herd. A lot of people simply accept the way things are just because it's tradition, as opposed to taking a good look at the world around you and thinking for yourself. Sometimes there are catalysts that change our perspective." Read more

"I think it's the perfect blend of the new modern - or as people say the way too modern Exodus and a little of the classic stuff. But it's not in any way a throwback album.
"There's going to be some who say the songs are still too long and Gary Holt doesn't know what he's doing." And returning frontman Steve 'Zetro' Souza adds: "I think that's with anything you do - you'll attract the likers and the haters."

"Oasis have been the soundtrack to my life for the last 20 years on this wonderful planet," He tells the Guardian. "In 1994 I was browsing through an issue of a magazine called Select, and there was a story about a band from England, with some unusual looking fellows, that I'd never heard of. I skimmed across the article, and was quite amused by the fact that every other word was either 'f***' or 'c**t'.
"It reeked of attitude and not giving a f***, which at the time - at the height of the 'shoegazing I can't handle being a rockstar' attitudes that were becoming mainstream - was very refreshing." Read more

The label say: "Cavalera brothers Max and Igor delude nobody when it comes to determination and stubbornness. Pandemonium is no exception - frontman Max rushes with a bellow of rage into the fray, lets his brother drum the coarsest grooves, and puts his finger into the open wound."
Max recently described the work as "very, very heavy - the heaviest of all three" and added: "I was really possessed to get Igor back to his Arise era of drumming, everything fast."

Now he reveals there are two sides to the story. He says on Facebook: "I would never go into details why I quit, but there is always one official story and there is the other - alcohol is quite a small part of it."

"Lindsey [Buckingham] and I are American kids - California kids," says Nicks. "We didn't know anything about style. We were hippie kids, so Mick was like Mr. Style and when he came into our lives, everybody had to up our style a little bit."
"'Watch Chain' really started out as a metaphor to Mick and that whole kind of English thing with the little tiny, slightly backed shoulders and the nipped-in waist," she continues. "It was a good look, and it was a good look for women too - all the girls in my life, we all thought, 'Oh, we want to look like Mick, for sure.' So we all tried to get the same kind of jeans and little vests and silk shirts."
Due October 7th, "24 Karat Gold - Songs From the Vault" features a collection of lost and stray songs that Nicks has written and recorded through the years, but never made it onto an album.

It features part of opening track Shutting Out The Sun, which appears on the Kscope release on October 13. Duda says of the album: "The title indicates living in a world of imagination, in a place that's made up and unreal. You can have your head in the clouds, you can chase after rainbows - so you can walk on a flashlight beam too.
"It's a story about choosing to be alone. It's about people who, even on a bright and sunny day, have the curtains drawn and the blinds closed in their rooms. I've written about solitude and living in a world of fiction before in Riverside's lyrics, but now I've decided to write a whole album about it."

In his keynote address at the Yellow Phone Music Conference in Milwaukee, Nevermind producer (and Garbage member) Butch Vig noted that Nirvana practiced ten hours a day for six months before heading into the studio to record the 1991 classic. If that seems like a lot, and it is, the band's relentless practice schedule wasn't for the reasons you might think.
Nirvana didn't rehearse so much just to get good. According to Vig, the band was freezing in their apartment and practiced to stay warm, a message that surely resonated with the typically chilly Wisconsin crowd.
"They were living in a really floppy, s--y apartment up in the northwest, and the rehearsal space had a space heater," Vig said in his speech (via Spin). "So they would go in there and it would be warm and they would go in there and play until 10, 11 o'clock at night and then they'd go back to their apartment."

Being a drinker and living in a drinking town the observations that led to the creation of this song came pretty naturally. It was only a matter of time. Oh yes, I have been a member of the debauchery that is Nashville's nightlife. Where as, the partying life style of the rock and the roll can be stuffed with grand memories, prideful accomplishments and inspirations it is also accompanied by some of the most tragic stories a human being can handle. It is easy to lose your direction and become lost in a never-ending monotony of a certain lifestyle taking over the residence of where the soul of your art once lived separating you from what really matters. "Lord and Gods of Alcohol" is about getting caught up in an endless pattern of a superficial lifestyle and the call to arms to break the pattern and fight for the forward moving evolution of your life's path until your dying breath.
The tracks musical birth originated in the basement of a Bloomington, IN band's house at an after party celebrating the nights gig. Yes, there was booze involved.
We stood in a circle, as people in a conversation often do, and proceeded to beat box the first birth of the song in the style of a cappella. Yep, that happened.
Months later Chas, drummer of The Grayces, brought a riff to the table that was influenced by our prior "conversation" while on tour in Bloomington. We all felt there was a strong connection of the two sources and held up in the jam room until we created what is now 'Lord and Gods of Alcohol'.
The "Lord and Gods of Alcohol" music video provides a glimpse into a man of tedious vices, as he carries his companion of booze through the winding streets of the world, fighting for his personal evolution into the next stage of his life's journey in the midst of figuring out what and/or who really rules his life, trying to remember to never give up the fight for freedom and personal control.
This particular music video was the first music video that we have done that was solely conceptualized, directed, filmed and edited by the band.
The old film clips represented in the video are from old public domain archives of some footage that Thomas Edison shot back in the day. We had a lot of fun creating the video and hope to do more in the future. Check it out!
