The image features singer Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, and bassist Cliff Williams noticeably absent is drummer Phil Rudd.
The band recently used Bob Richards (Shogun, Adrian Smith Band) to handle drum duties for the filming of a pair of videos in London earlier this month, with Johnson telling fans that Rudd had been called away at the last minute to deal with a family emergency.
AC/DC were shooting clips for the title track to their forthcoming album, "Rock Or Bust", as well as the project's lead single, "Play Ball." Due December 2, "Rock Or Bust" is the Australian band's first album since 2008's "Black Ice."
AC/DC recorded the project at Vancouver's Warehouse Studio with producer Brendan O'Brien (Aerosmith, Pearl Jam) and engineer Mike Fraser.
Angus and Malcolm's nephew, Stevie, handled rhythm guitar on the album after Malcolm stepped away from the group to deal with ongoing health issues related to dementia, according to his family; he is now officially retired from AC/DC.

"'Rock and Roll' has just got that cheeky energy about it," Jimmy Page told Rolling Stone. "It's a party. 'It's been a long time since I rock and rolled.' It says it all, really. It's great lyrics and it's a great performance."
"As a song, it was actually kind of punky; pre-punk," added bassist/keyboardist John Paul Jones. "It was really fast too, onstage anyway. It just got really quick, a lot of energy. It's a lot of fun to play. The crowd loved it. We loved it."
Released in November 1971, the album - which is officially untitled - defined the sound of rock music for a generation with ubiquitous anthems such as "Stairway To Heaven", "Rock And Roll", "Black Dog" and "When The Levee Breaks". The album was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 1999, has been certified 23x platinum by the RIAA.
The "Led Zeppelin IV" deluxe edition includes unreleased versions of every song heard on the original album including alternate mixes of "Misty Mountain Hop" and "Four Sticks", mixes of "The Battle Of Evermore" and "Going To California" heavy with guitar and mandolin, and the fabled, alternate version "Stairway To Heaven", mixed at the Sunset Sound Studio in Los Angeles which lets fans hear one of the most revered songs of all time as they have never heard it before.
The group are releasing both "Led Zeppelin IV" and "Houses Of The Holy" on the same day. Check out the alternate version of "Rock And Roll"

Cannibal Corpse had previously been accused of blasphemy, with Dimitry Tsorionov, head of Russia's God's Will movement calling for the tour to be scrapped.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, fans began throwing bottles at police, leading to the arrests. Police say those detained were charged either with disorderly conduct or being drunk in public - offences that can lead to fines and up to 15 days in prison.
It was the third gig to be cancelled on the band's Russian tour, following previous difficulties in Ufa and Moscow - although their shows in Krasnodar, Samara, Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg went ahead without any problems.

Cooper tipped fans off to the impromptu show via Twitter, writing "If you're looking for more rock after the #motleycrue #AliceCooper show in #nashville head over to Dan McGuinness and rock with my band!".

The previously unreleased song, "Dress It Up, Better Have It All" is in the rockabilly vein and was among the tracks Dylan recorded with The Band in 1967, when he was thought to be inactive and recovering from a motorcycle accident.
"The way we played in the basement had nothing to do with the way we played with Bob on tour, and it had nothing to do with the way we'd played as the Hawks or with Ronnie Hawkins," the Band's guitarist Robbie Robertson writes in the liner notes to the new album.
"It was a whole new persona. Subtleties came into the music. It had this kind of timeless spirit." Hear the song

He tells Jack Antonio: "The autobiography is something I've got to delay because I've been working my ever-loving balls off this entire year. To really get down and write a comprehensive, fun book to read, I can't have any other distractions. Because living out on the road is one thing and I have a set regimen and I really can't deviate from that process."
He continues: "I haven't had much time to think about the book all that much aside from keeping in touch with Corey. I know he's been busy organizing the Housecore Horror Film And Music Festival himself. There is a little bit of a delay on the book." Read more

However, that ongoing relationship hasn't stopped Root from taking a swipe at his former employers. He tells Guitar World: "Some of the guys in Stone Sour, I think they just want to be a radio band and write strictly for radio and try to be more of a poppy rock band. And that's not really what I'm into.
He adds, "There's at least one guy in the band that's only concerned about money. I really have no desire to associate with people like that anymore." Read more

But it turns out he has another project in the works, as he told Radio.com in an interview promoting I'm the Man. "There's a band called Mother Superior that you've probably heard of: they were the Rollins Band for years. It was Jim Wilson's band, he's been Daniel Lanois's bass player for years, he was just Emmylou Harris's musical director on her last tour. Jim and [Scott's wife, singer/songwriter] Pearl are writing partners, they've written all of Pearl's solo material together. We love Mother Superior, this kick-ass three-piece rock band from L.A. They've been gone for about seven years. I turned 50 last December. My birthday present to myself was, I cherry picked my 12 favorite Mother Superior songs, I put a band together, and we played a concert in the jam room in my house for like twenty of our friends, who are really into Mother Superior. The vibe in the room was so good. It was me, Jim Wilson, Pearl, John Tempesta [formerly of White Zombie, Exodus and Testament] on drums and Joey Vera [formerly of Armored Saint and Fates Warning, and briefly of Anthrax] on bass. We crushed it."
"Long story short: Tracy Vera is at work the next day, she's the Vice-President of Metal Blade Records. [President] Mike Faley walks in and says, 'I heard about this gig at Scott's house last night! [Photographer] Neil Zlozower called me and told me about it!' Neil's a big Mother Superior fan, too. 'Are they gonna do anything with that?' And she said, 'I don't know, I'll call Scott.' So she called and asked me, 'Do you want to do anything with this, because Metal Blade would sign it! It would be my project.' I was like, 'I would, but let me ask Jim!' And he said, 'That would be great!' So two weeks later, we went into the studio with [producer] Jay Ruston, set up live, and made the record in two days. Metal Blade's putting it out at the end of January. It f-ing rocks!"

Maximum Overload was released in August via Earmusic. It's their sixth studio album and the follow-up to 2012's The Power Within. Hudson tells Rock Made Of Metal: "We called it Maximum Overload because it describes the music. There's so much technical guitar playing and technical stuff thrown in there, vocals and everything, so we just thought Maximum Overload encompassed how ballistic we were getting on the album."
Earlier this year, guitarist Sam Totman claimed the band had scientifically proven their new album was faster and heavier than anything they had done before.
He told TeamRock Radio: "We looked at the numbers and it actually is faster because it's 240bpm - most of our songs in the past are either 200 or 220. It's also heavier because we used a seven string guitar and we looked at the string gauge from when we last used a seven string. So technically, it is faster and heavier. Scientific proof!"

"Chicago's the place where I saw my first show," explains Dave Grohl. "The first time I ever saw a live band play was at this little bar called the Cubby Bear right across the street from Wrigley Field. It was just like 'I want to do this for the rest of my life.' So the idea of the song, and the episode, is that once you find that spark and inspiration, that begins your path in life, for whatever it is you want to do."
The Foo Fighters will celebrate the launch of their HBO series, "Sonic Highways", by performing at The Cubby Bear in Chicago and streaming the concert online.
The 8-part HBO series debuts on Friday, October 17 at 11:00 p.m. EST. The program chronicles the making of the band's forthcoming album of the same name, out November 10.

The band has garnered respect by more than just fans. ADTR recently announced and sold out their second Self Help Festival, designed to highlight up-and-coming bands of the same genre; the first was held earlier this year in March in San Bernardino, Calif. Frontman Jeremy McKinnon explains the sold out Philadelphia concert is to "have a place for just our style and bands like us." The band created a lineup "that we want to see and that we feel this group of fans want to see." Guitarist Kevin Skaff notes that band realized musicians are treated much better at European festivals and ADTR wanted to bring that level of backstage hospitality to the States.
Living in a dance and hip-hop dominated universe, McKinnon addresses what he thought could be done to keep the rock genre from continuing to shrink. "I would just say it's going to take that next big record, that next big song, to really show the world, this is still alive and well. It's just a matter of time. You have folk music with Mumford & Sons. They had that huge album then all of a sudden pop music is writing folk songs and I think that's really cool. It's just a matter of time."
As the band's chief lyricist, McKinnon is always surprised how fortunate to have fans connect with his words. "It's pretty amazing to see it in a live setting too," he says. "There's some nights you go out there and play and you can just feel the aura around the whole room, like everybody's vibing on the same thing together." Those shows are the ones that set the bar, he explains. "It's amazing that fans actually listen to our music and a meaning in it and more than just, 'oh, we play breakdowns.'"
Varied tastes? McKinnon admits nothing is off-limits. Read more

Singer Daniel Gildenlow says Linoleum was always his first choice to appear on the album. He adds: "I love the versatility of this animal, and I keep dragging it into different contexts to see how it will adapt and respond.
"I have always loved to play around with the emotional spectrum of suppressed rage in music and lyrics, and making this song acoustic called for even higher levels of challenge when it came to finding that perfect balance of dialed-down subtlety and sudden bursts of emotional display. I love how it came out in the end."
Gildenlow says he is relieved the record is finally ready to launch after he spent four months in hospital while working on the release.
He says: "It has been a long time, and the road to release has been very complicated and unexpected, including finding myself in hospital for four months after a close call with flesh eating bacteria." Read more and stream the song

The band say: "The video was created by our cover artist Daniel van Nes in collaboration with Sanja Maier-Hasagic, Morean and acclaimed American modern dancer and choreographer Jack Gallagher.
"Our music and lyrics are visually very evocative, so we felt the song calls for an approach that almost feels more like a short movie than a regular metal music video."

The rocker will be in Chicago for the next few months as he performs "Dee Snider's Rock & Roll Christmas Tale" at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place from November 4 through January 4, 2015.
"Dee Snider's Rock & Roll Christmas Tale" tells the story of Disy Ctter, a heavy metal bar band looking to make it big even though the 80s are LONG over.
This year, these four guys are ready to take the ultimate step and, in mythic rock tradition, sell their souls to the devil in exchange for success beyond their wildest metal dreams. But every time they try to seal the infernal pact, their head-banging anthems turn into warm-hearted carols. Soon these rockers are forced to realize their dreams of stardom are no match for the Christmas spirit.

The music for the song Storm (which also is the album name) came up pretty natural with an fusion of some ready riffs were the vocals sort of automatically forced the music to rearrange the rhythms in verses and chorus built on feel and words. Then mixing up some driven heavy riffs with calming, soothing patterns, just like the real thing, gave birth to our Storm.
The creation process was quite a coincidence as it fitted the lyrics with an a subtle reference to many things which is affected by outer force and uncontrollable issues, just like your typical Storm. Add in the words anyone can relate to when they are listening in, and putting their personal "storms" in the centre and you are there.
Unless it's an unsettlement with yourself, a struggle with government issues, sheer force or an disagreement in opinions, your storm changes and takes different shapes, but it will never wait. Just like the stomping weight of Maskins sound. Enjoy.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself here and learn more about the album
