As I said before X, this
has nothing to do with you. I am not attacking you in any way, or not attempting
to. If you have taken it the wrong way either I have touched on something
that is an issue or you have taken these comments the wrong way. In any
case X, you are my boy...and what I am simply saying is, not everyone has
to agree with you on every topic. That doesn't make them good or bad. Simply
put, certain bands on MTV annoy you, others don't. True? That just sounds
to me as if what you like is cool, what others like that you don't...they
suck and are ignorant. Same is said about either of us. We use music to
enhance our mood. We like aggressive, angry music. Just cause BK listens
to Will Smith doesn't make him bad. But if you notice BK is never hardly
ever upset. You and I our. Your next rant should discuss the time you and
I listened to two wrestlers entrance themes because we were in bad moods.
Music vs. Attitude...I would read it! So in closing, X, don't take my stuff
personal, because it wasn't intended for that. It was to make the point
that we don't have to agree with each other and our ways and likes and
dislikes, but not disrespect each others to get a pop. Don't turn it in
to something that it is not!

Well, Fever once again your
friend must make some comments(and these comments are my opinion so don't
show up at my house ranting and raving) First, you know that I don't care
for the music of Boy Bands. I don't mind looking at the Girls,...but man
what you said in your rant is so one sided that even you "Rock 105 boy"
should have seen the holes. I know that you like to bring out these tid
bits of info that you read or store in your photographic memory for later
use...but the fact is X, we do not have to agree with the music, nor like
it...but why disrespect it. For example, is someone walks up to you and
says,"X, the Wu-Tang Klan sucks, they can not rap! They are worthless posers!"
I know and you know you would be like,"Bull Sh!t!" Why does your music
have to be what everyone likes? It doesn't. Some people don't care about
your rants. Some people don't care about you. But that doesn't mean that
you are a bad person. It is an opinion. You don't have to agree with it,
but live with it. Fact is you say boy bands appeal to the girls cause of
looks and the way they sing and dress. You dress like Movie Personalities(Tyler
Durden) You act like Movie Personalities(Dennis Leary),...fact is the list
goes on X. You aren't doing that for you...you are doing it to make people
notice you. To listen to your show at college. You own Limp CDs. I mean
fact is Metallica is a MTV constant now, but you still listen to them.
Same for Kid Rock, DMX, Slim, Dre, do I go on?? Why should the world revolve
around you? X this isn't a personal blow but an attempt to make a point
to you...It isn't all about you. The world doesn't revolve around you.
And you did not introduce the world to all of your "cool" music. Need I
mention System of a Down, Kittie, Static X, South Park, Wrestling/sports
entertainment....Understand that these words are not meant to hurt your
feelings cause you are my friend, but fact is I am going to be very blunt
from now on!!!

Black Label Society...whether you like all these bands or not, the truth
is they're all a hell of a lot more talented than all the crap forced down
the public's throats on TRL. All these horrible pop groups need to take
a visit to the Ozzfest or Tattoo the Earth tours and see what REAL music
is all about.

say korn sold out yadda yadda yadda (i got that info from you homepage),
but if i recall they said they didn't care if their new album sold good
at all, they said that they made that album for themselves, (it's not their
fault MTV doesn't know how to let a trend die) now to me that is the exact
opposite of being a sell out. just my thoughts though.

Here's one for all the people
out there who think annoying little fukks like N Sync are 'nice n sweet'.
I was at work at the radio station one day (yes, in case you didn't know..i
do work in radio..the handle aint just a cute lil nickname)..anyway, i
was reading one of the industry trade journals and they had a story about
an n sync record story appearance. These little fukks showed up..smiled
for the camera....signed autographs...and made SURE to take every 'hard
made gift' that these girls gave them. Now, the twist. Afterwards..store
employees found ALL of there trashcans stuffed with the gifts that had
been heaped upon the members of n sync...apparently the guys didn't have
room for the stuff in their luxorious stretch limo. So, just like the sprite
commercials say..."Image is nothing".

Personally, The Rock agrees
with the good doctor. Too much emphasis is put towards girl- and boy-group
bands......and there no attention left over for ME!

I agree, Boy-Bands are a waste of radio time, Girl Bands are a waste of
perfectly good silicon, and record execs need to boil in their own juices.
If I may make a suggestion for your next rant. "Reality-Based Television."
Shows like "Survivor," "Real World," "Road Rules," and all these 'making
of' shows. I believe that these cultural ailments are ripe for treatment
by the good Dr. Fever.

Listen to what you want,
and don't bash others for listening to what they want to, that's what I
always say. But boybands...the music is quite awful, but it might appeal
to someone, and that's not really the issue. It's the image. The whole
thing is so fake. The constant pointing at the camera while tilting back
a little, the hip swaying, the constant chants of "Ooh baby", and the over
dramatic expressions...the whole thing is just so EVIL. They tell all the
little girls that all they want to do is get into their pants, that they
really care about them, and these young girls just flip. Please, girls,
I know you're all smarter than that. A while back I was making fun of N
Sync in front of a female cousin, who got a little agitated and came down
on me for criticizing the band, when I didn't even know what they were
like. "Besides," she said, "They are really cute, nice guys." Cute, well
I hear that a lot. Nice guys...which I presume she figured out when N Sync
called her over to their place for tea and biscuits and then spent a quiet
evening playing Pictionary by the fireplace and then dropping her home
by limo before going off to right all wrongs by the power of their incredible
heartwrenching music, which will stop all wars, end poverty and bring all
the people of the world together and cause all life forms to exist in harmony.
The whole get-up is so fake. They are larger than life, arrogant, untalented
(debatable, but I think a lot of people will agree with me on this), money
hungry, sex crazed group of individuals. Yes, maybe they can sing. But,
like I said, it's not the music, it's the image. And Britney Spears...
oh deary me. To all female solo artists out...is your talent questionable?
Well follow dear Ms Spears's example and fake a knee injury and get your
breasts enlarged and wear tight clothing on your next video... that way,
the media doesn't really pay attention to your music. But I'd like to end
with the straw that broke the camels back...on MTV fanatic, an 18 year
old girl came on to meet Mandy Moore...who is...ooh...15 or 16...sorry,
I lost my "Ultimate Teeny Pop Encyclopedia", so I forgot. Anyway, this
older fan was all over Mandy, worshipping the ground she walked on. That,
my friends, takes the biscuit. PS - Thanks Dr Fever for having an article
that (for the most part) will keep people from arguing, and instead will
allow us to read amusing boyband bashing articles. PPS- No offence to boyband/teeny
pop lovers, it's your life (which reminds me of the Bon Jovi song, don't
even get me started on that).

thing and Napster, when fans traded m the metallica demos it was overseen
by metallica, they had control over it, napster did not have there permission
to give away there music, not to mention those copied tapes had crappy
sound quality compared to mp3s near CD quality sound, now Dr. Fever, ill
try not to mention napster again

to make money off of these "pop" artists. And, they seem to be doing a
damn fine job; although you're right in that the music geniuninely blows
hard, kids (who make up a majority of the sales for these artists) are
incable of telling the difference. To them, the image means as much as
the music anyway. Regrettably, there is no way to stop record labels from
publishing this shit.

Ok, here's the thing w/
the napster thing masterofpuppetz, if you think about it, it's just the
same as trading tapes, would you not agree? Another thing, I was kicked
of Napster for awhile cuz i had some of their songs on my computer, but
what Lars didn't know is that i already owned their CDs making the copies
on my computer perfectly legal. What I'm trying to say is Napster is not
at all hurting Metallica's business, if anything, they are helping them
out.

Well, I, for one, *don't*
listen to music I don't like. What boy bands aren't in it for the money,
and why is it so wrong for Metallica to want the fruits of their efforts
delivered to them? And music *is* sometimes meant to be a statement, political,
religious (or sacreligious), musical or personal, and some of the songs
I've heard from boy bands actually do present a statement. *shrug* It all
depends on which way you want the statement presented. Of course, some
statements are not accessible via BSB, N*Sync, etc. You could probably
guess as to which ones.

I consider myself to be well educated in the world of music. I enjoy the
whole music thing. I will be the first to tell you that at one time I didnt
care for the boy bands myself and there is a few I still cant handle (lfo,
bbmak) and well christina agulera she is a joke gone really bad. I appreciate
these boys talents, they can sing, and they can dance. I enjoy what they
do, when they do it. I only came on this web site because your master of
puppets came to the bsb site and started flipping out. I think if you dont
like the boy bands, then dont listen to them. Geez, get a freakin life
already. I have a full-time job and think I am mature enough to know the
difference. Lou Pearlman is money hungry, therefore he invented the Making

Fred can sing (somewhat
good) when he wants to, but instead he raps 90% of the time, he sings in
rearanged and in my favorite LB song Stalemate (great song) off the first
album before there music got way weaker so they could make TRL easier,
that first LB album was really heavy and really sweet but the second one
was really weak in comparison, but yes stained is a hell of a lot better
than LB, (I Love the song Spleen). and your right Dr. Fever, if you like
rap its better to say so than be a poser and lie about it P.S. (still working

All the rap songs I hear all have the swears in alphabetical order. These
rap fans pay money too here this guy swear his balls out just to get a
